As the fire works sounded for the Royal Rumble in the stadium something unusual happened as Angel was the first man in the Royal Rumble giving everyone a huge shock that Angel was even cleared for the rumble
"The following contest is the Royal Rumble match, the only way to be eliminated is be thrown over the top ropes. Introducing first, from Saint Peterburg, Russian. Weighting in at 225 pounds, he is the self proclaimed Angel of Wrestling. Angel!" Greg announced as the crowded booed the white and black hair man that walked to the ring with Murphy and Theory showing his plague to the Monday Night Messiah. Theory and Murphy went to the commentary table till their names where called to enter as Angel's opponent was obvious
"And entering at number 2, from San Diego, California, weighting in at 198 pounds, Rey Mysterio." Greg announced but the masked luchadore never arrived as the cameras panned to the backstage area where Rey was seen being beaten by Seth Rollins and AOP before they can be seen dragging him out to the ring. The bell sounded and Angel threw Rey over the top "Rey Mystrio has been eliminated." Greg said loudly for the crowd to hear as they booed Angel. As the match went on, it was left too Angel, Big Show and Roman Reigns, only one man haven't won the rumble like others. "Angel why don't you bow down to your so called 'Messiah' and get out of here." Big show yelled out only to cause the Fallen Angel to unhing instantly going for Twisted Wings only for Big Show to throw him into a Superman punch by Roman before Big Show and Roman eliminated each other as the bell sounded showing Angel laid on the mat not moving as he was out cold. "Here is your winner of the 2020 Royal Rumble match. Angel." Greg announced as AOP came down to the ring to check on the newly won rumble winner. "I'm fine. I'm fine." Angel said as he slowly rose up from the mat. But only for one theme played
"There's our WWE champion from smack down, Braun Strowman." Corey Graves announced as Braun got into the ring towering over the smaller Angel only for the bag pipes to play.
"Who's it gonna be Angel!" Drew yelled from the stage with a smirk on his Scottish face as Braun still towered over him. "You and me at Mania!" Angel yelled back at the Scottish Sycopath as Angel pointed to the sign with a smirk of his own only for AOP to attack Angel. "What the hell I thought these three were on the same page." Micheal said as Braun was trying to help the Angel who laid shocked on the mat. "Braun up." Angel yelled out as Braun threw Angel on his shoulders as both AOP members laid on the mat, Angel kept his balance going for his old finisher known as Heaven's Fallen (Red Arrow) landing on both AOP members before getting up giving Braun a high five before going backstage with the Monster among men.
