Just when everyone has given up on Perrie and Perrie is about to let her dark, messed up mind devour her, she bumps into a tiny brunette that just won't give up on her
It's October when Perrie meets Jade. It's cold and extremely rainy outside and Perrie has been running from her mother's car to school in hope she wouldn't get too wet. She keeps running even in the hallways, realizing she's late when she finds them empty. She's just about to turn the corner and head to her science class when she bumps into someone, falling backwards and dropping her bag. The tiny brunette she has bumped into apologizes, picking Perrie's things and helping her up, whilst Perrie just looks at her and stays silent, blinking a few times before remembering she's late to class and running in the hallway again.
It's November when Perrie's studying for that damn science project, costantly pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose and searching for any books that could help. Just as she's about to grab the book she needed, a hand goes there first and she touches the strange's hand. She turns around to see a tiny brunette smiling up at her, mumbling something along the lines, "Hi, I'm Jade," but she doesn't quite pay attention to that and just turns around, leaving the girl confused behind.
It's December when Perrie walks slowly down the hallway, and whilst everyone's making plans about spending holidays with family and friends, she's just keeping her head low. She's so engrossed with her thoughts that she doesn't notice another body coming her way so they bump into each other, and Perrie doesn't even have time to register what's happening that suddendly she's laying on the floor with a body on top of hers. She blinks a few times, trying to make out the girl's face, but it's pointless because her head is still dizzy from the hit.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry!" a voice chirps right into her ear, and she recognizes it, weirdly. It's the tiny girl from the hallway and the library, and when she rubs her eyes, she has to look away because their faces are just inches away and if she leaned in their lips would touch. She shakes off the unwelcome thought and gets up, throwing the brunette off of her and running to her next class.
It's 5 days before Christmas, the last day before Christmas break when Perrie feels someone tapping her shoulder with their finger. When she looks up she sees ombré hair and a tiny figure, holding a small but large red box. The girl smiles down at her and hands her the box, muttering a "Merry Christmas."
She opens her mouth to say something but then realizes she doesn't really know what to say, so she closes it and ends up looking like a fish. The girl then turns around and walks towards the entrance of the library.
It's the afternoon of the same day when Perrie comes home, and surprisingly the house is quiet, her parents aren't fighting and her brother is out. She goes up to her room and locks the door, sitting on her pink bed that has peace symbols all over it. She takes the box in her hands, turning it around. She spots a little card on the back, it says:
"Merry Christmas mysterious girl. You're very pretty. My name is Jade by the way." She smiles wide at that, a faint blush covering her cheeks. When she opens the box, she finds a little diary, blank, which means Jade wants Perrie to write her thoughts or something. She's so happy that night that she forgets to take the yellow pills, and for some strange reason, she dreams of ombré hair and brown sparkling eyes.
It's January when Jade opens her locker and finds a little green box with a card attacked to it; it reads:
"Merry Christmas, even though it's a little late. My name's Perrie by the way." Jade doesn't spot the blonde anywhere that day, yet she smiles like a chesire cat.
It's still January when Perrie is walking home, under the snow and the freezing weather. She's still thinking about those caramel brown eyes when a horn interrupts her thoughts, making her jump. She turns around and spot the tiny brunette, gesturing with her hands for the blonde to get in her car, so she does. They make a small chat about homeworks and lessons until they arrive at Perrie's house. Perrie decides she wants to thank the girl so before she opens the car's door, she leans in and pecks Jade's cheek sweetly, leaving Jade blushing and touching her cheek.
It's February when Jade decides she's had enough of just staring at Perrie and blushing like an idiot, so one day at the library, she goes up to her and asks her out. It's kind of awkward because she's stuttering during the whole sentence and at first Perrie just looks at her blankly. The brunette honestly thinks Perrie is going to the reject her but she doesn't, instead she smiles and nods, showing that cute dimple of hers.
It's Friday of the same week when Jade takes Perrie out on a date. Well, it's not really "out" because they're just in Jade's tree house that's right on a tree outside Jade's house, but it doesn't really matter to them. There are lanterns illuminating the place, Jade and Perrie eat pizza and then two bars of chocolate, they talk about their favourite books and movies, and just mess around.
"Are you cold? Come here, I have a blanket," Jade says when she sees Perrie shaking. Jade gestures for Perrie to get under the blanket with her and the blonde is a bit hesitant at first, but then she does it. Perrie is istantly hit with the heat radiating off of Jade's body and when Jade wraps her arms around her waist and lays her head on the blonde's shoulder, Perrie goes all red and mentally thinks that this is just to good to be true. At the end of the night, Jade is talking about a movie she saw some months before, and Perrie really wants to listen but she's too distracted by Jade's perfect lips so she leans in and kisses her. It's sweet and soft and Perrie feels like she's floating. Jade gasps at first but kisses back, because she has been waiting for this since the first time she saw the blue eyed beauty. They keep talking about movies and books but this time their words are muffled by their lips and their giggles when they bump their noses against each other's softly.
It's on March when Perrie tells Jade about her past and about her depression. She tells Jade everything about her parents and her brother, every word they've said to her and every time the blonde felt like ending it all. Jade shivers at the thought of Perrie's death and scoots closer to the blonde, hugging her tight and whispering words in her ear like, "I'm here now. You have me, I have you, we have each other."
That night, they lay in Jade's bed together. Perrie cries at first. She doesn't know if it's because of her depression and her memories or if they are tears of joy because god, she has never been so happy and she's overly glad that she found Jade. Jade slowly kisses all of her tears away and caresses her cheek softly. Then they close their eyes and drift off to sleep, or at least Perrie does. Jade can't sleep because she's too distracted by the way the moonlight makes Perrie's skin shine like a diamond, and the way Perrie's skin feels so soft and smooth under Jade's lips. So she spends the night peppering Perrie's neck and jawline with sweet kisses, thanking God that she found Perrie.
