It was at times like this that the blonde felt like locking herself in her bedroom and sleep for decades. Sleeping wouldn't solve her problems of course but at least she would forget about work for a while.

Her company had been dropping in the industry, other companies shoving their ways to the top, making them fall down in the abyss of low wages, with a shit load of work to do and people getting dismissed everyday. She went at work around seven in the morning and went back home around midnight. Her boss kept sending people away, doubling the work for the other officers, making everyone go insane. She was basically living of take-away and coffee, and no one knew it better than her wife Jade.

The brunette had been so worried for her wife. Beside the fact that she was never home, whenever she'd get into bed at night she would fall asleep in the matter of seconds, and when she woke up she had the biggest bags under her beautiful eyes. She had tried to convince Perrie to stay home so many times, to just relax and sleep for a while but the blonde refused, knowing too well that the company was slowly falling.

It's funny because Jade and Perrie met exactly at work. Jade had been working at the office for some years, meanwhile Perrie had just finished university and applied for a job in the building. Jade was typing away on her boss' laptop, her fingers eventually leaving the keyboard to bring the streaming hot cup of coffee to the brunette's lips. It was just the elevator's ding that made Jade look up.

The blonde stepped out of the elevator, walking a few centimetres before catching a brunette woman's gaze. When the woman realized she had been caught staring, she instantly took her gaze away, a faint blush covering her cheeks.

"Excuse me?" Perrie mumbled shyly, walking closer to the brunette's desk at the side of the corridor.

"Is this Johanne's office?"

"Yeah it is, what do you need?" Jade stuttered, feeling slightly awkward under the blonde's gaze. She couldn't help but admire her, her blonde wavy hair tied up in a messy bun, her blue ocean eyes, and her perfect pink lips. She seriously hoped the girl would get accepted in the company so she could spend some of her time admiring the girl from afar and maybe even talk to her.

"Uh, I've applied for a job here, I think my interview is today." Perrie bite down on her bottom lip nervously, shifting from feet to feet. Jade stopped breathing for a moment, that girl was really awfully beautiful.

"What's your name then?"

"Perrie, Perrie Edwards." Perrie, it fits her.

"Oh, alright. You're in in 5 minutes Perrie," the blonde's name sounded so much better from Jade's lips and Perrie almost wanted to ask the brunette to repeat it. But she shook out the weird thoughts and nodded, sitting down on one of the chairs in the waiting room.

The room was rather big, one of the walls were made of glass so you had the whole view of London in the morning, and it was breath-takingly amazing. Basically everything except the chairs were made of glass; the tables, the desks, even the doors. The building was obviously really modern, Perrie liked the style.

"Is this your first job interview?" A familiar voice interrupted her from her thoughts, making her look up at the brunette secretary.

"Yeah, it is. I've just finished uni," She stated confidently, finding a smile appear on her face thinking about all the college experiences she did. She left so many friends and teachers but she will always be proud of what she's achieved.

"Oh, you must be nervous then. Don't worry, it's nothing too serious, just a few questions about yourself and your skills, they won't eat you." The two girls giggled slightly, and Perrie actually felt nice around the other woman.
