I wanted to love you
God knows how badly I wanted to fall in love with you
I tried so hard
But I've learnt it the hard way that love is a flower that can't be forced to bloom in conditions it's not meant to survive in
That's why when we planted the seeds in our garden
Your flowers bloomed into roses while mine didn't bloom at all
But you weren't just my lover you were my best friend
Then why didn't you understand that just because I wasn't in love with you
That didn't mean that I didn't love you
