Hey Charly!😁 What you up to today?

I smile when I see Grayson's name on my phone.

I coincidentally don't have any plans for today and it looks like it's gonna be a beautiful day.

I type out a response to Gray's text.

S'up G☺️ I didn't have any plans for today other than Netflix and eating😊😊

Not even a second later he's typing out a response, my mind then traces back to when we nearly kissed at his gathering and my cheeks flush as I see the three dots on my screen.

Well as fun as that sounds i was wondering if you would wanna meet me at the beach 🏖😁

Sure! That sounds fun

Hanging out with Grayson after we nearly kissed?

Yeah Charly, that's a great idea!

Awesome! 😎 meet me at the beach as soon as you can😁

I go to put my phone down when it beeps with another text from Grayson.

And bring a surf board!

Surfing? With Grayson? Sounds like today is gonna be fun.

"Hey you" he smiles when I walk up to him at the beach, holding my surf board while his leans on his car next to him.

"Hi Gray!".

"You look like you're ready for a surf day" Grayson smiles as he takes in my appearance.

I opted for a light blue bikini with my hair styled in a loose braid. My usual surf attire.

"Of course" I look at how effortlessly gorgeous he looks today, as per usual. His soft hair blowing in the gentle wind and his skin practically glowing.

A comfortable silence spreads between us as our eyes scroll up our bodies till they finally meet, a smile spreading on my face when I see those hazel orbs.

"Well we should get started to make the most of the waves" Grayson eventually says as he grabs his board.

The two of us walk down to the sand, the hot sun beating down on us.

I push my arms against the water as I lay on my board, my eyes zeroing in on the wave I see coming towards me. I force my body up from the board and level my feet to keep my balance. I catch the wave and ride through it, steering my body to help me glide across while the arch of the wave towers over me.

I let out a sigh after it passes and I stride out into the calmer ocean, feeling my heart race with happiness as the adrenaline pumps through my veins. This is my happy place.

"Awesome one Charly!" Grayson claps from behind me.

I turn around to look at him and grin, "thanks Gray!".

I watch him as he starts to make his way to another wave which is approaching.

I feel my heart race even more when I see the way his muscles become more prominent as they push against the water and eventually lift his body up.

He's so dreamy.

I let out a cheer when he catches and rides the wave.

His face shows how concentrated he is on surfing but he still looks so carefree and relaxed.

He breaks out into a smile after he's done it, a sparkling light shining in his eyes and a warm glow beaming from him.

"But I think that one was slightly better" Grayson chuckles when he gets closer to me.
