"Grayson!" I squeal when I feel my boyfriend's lips on my neck once again and lean away.

The two of us are at a beach party being held by Deon with Ethan, Ari and Emma. We've supposed to have come as a group but of course there's an awkward tension between Ethan, Ari and Emma. From the way Ethan and Emma are acting, I think its highly possible that something is going on between them, however, there is a 50/50 chance that its all for show and sake of publicity.

Ari's feelings aren't fake though and she genuinely looks upset from time to time which upsets me. I just want her to be happy this summer, just like we planned at the beginning of the year.

"Hey....whats up?" Grayson asks me after kissing my cheek, having noticed how I'm looking at my friend.

"Oh...nothing" I lie and offer him a smile but he's not convinced, he knows me too well now.

Grayson looks over to Ari whose watching Ethan and Emma laughing loudly as they can over something thats probably not that funny. He catches on to what's going on and frowns at his brother.

"I told that asshole to be careful" he sighs and shakes his head as his older twin playfully tugs on Emma's ponytail.

"You know?" I ask him and he nods.

"I told him that he can't keep hooking up with Ariana in private if he's got this bullshit act going on with Emma in public" Grayson tells me "its not fair on both of the girls, especially Ariana".

"Yeah...I feel bad for her" I look over to my best friend whose now speaking to Deon to distract herself "she doesn't deserve this".

Grayson hooks his arm around my waist and pulls me closer to him, nuzzling my head underneath his chin, "I love that about you".

"Love what?" I breathe in his calming scent.

"How much you care about people" he tells me and I can hear the smile on his face "its so attractive to me".

I smile too and reach up to give him a kiss, feeling a deep happiness inside from being here with him.

Later into the night, Grayson and I are talking to Juan and Deon by the bonfire when I spot Ari and Ethan talking. Except it doesn't look like a civil or fun conversation at all, both are borderline yelling and Ari looks close to tears.

"Gray..." I gesture towards his brother and my friend in their altercation and his jaw clenches when he sees Ethan's temper cut short and yell at Ari.

Grayson lets go off my hand and walks towards the two with me following behind him, the two of us immediately knowing we have to diffuse the situation before it gets out of hand.

"Eth!" Grayson says when we reach them and puts his hand on his brother's shoulder "what's going on?".

Ethan just stares intensely at Ari and shakes his head, "it doesn't matter" is all he grunts before storming off in a hurry.

"Ethan!" Grayson calls after him but he doesn't respond, just keeps walking till he's practically off the beach.

Grayson looks to Ari and I and sighs, "I'm gonna go after him and try to talk to him" he tells me and gives me a light kiss "just wait here".

I nod and watch Grayson run after his brother. I turn to Ari whose looking away and wiping tears from her eyes, her body is shaking a little.

"Ari...what happened?" I ask softly and touch her shoulder but she shrugs me off.

"I don't wanna talk about it" her voice breaks a little despite her attempt to keep it calm "I'm gonna go home".

"Okay, well I'll come with you...." I say but Ari just shakes her head.
