It was a beautiful Monday morning and I was working at a local diner in our city as a waitress. You might be wondering who I am, I'm Carmen the youngest of the two sisters Beth and Annie. Like said before I'm currently working at one of the worst jobs every trying to pay off my student loan. As I'm about to go on my break I get a call from my sister Beth
"hey what's up"
"something crazy just happened"
"and what would that be"
"Okay so I was getting a wax and a woman walks in and she says that my card is declined"
"WHAT! Declined how why"
"I don't know but Annie and I are meeting you and Ruby at the diner, is she in yet?"
"no she should be in soon she has that thing at her daughter's school remember"
"Oh ya well see you soon," she says as she hangs up. I put my phone away and make myself a coffee as I hear the door open. I look up to see Ruby walking in.
"well hello there how was the school thing"
"it was amazing she tried o burn a book"
"that's why she's my favorite," I say chuckling to myself.
After a while, my two older sisters walk into the diner and sit at a booth. Ruby and I look around seeing that the diner is pretty empty so we walk up to the girls and sit with them.
"so tell me about this whole maxed out card situation?" I ask curiously and Ruby looks up to assuming she doesn't know either. I'm waiting for Beth to explain but Annie inter ups
"he maxed out their card at some lingerie store" she explains
"Do you think he's sleeping around?" Beth asks somewhat worried
"No way ain't nobody wants Dean" Ruby explains. They continue to throw out ideas of why Dean did what he did until I look up and see an old man walk back into the diner. I tap Annie beside me and gesture to the man.
"son of a bitch" she explains and tells Ruby about the tip. At first, Ruby doesn't believe her until she gets up to go get her tip to see that the old man was coming back to take it. Ruby comes back "sly old man," I say laughing a bit. I notice a couple walk into the diner, Ruby stands up but I beat her to it saying that I got this one as I walk off to take their order.
A little bit later I walk back to the girls and here Annie say 30,000$
"What is this about 30,00$"
"oh we're planning on robbing Annie's grocery store," Ruby says like it's nothing. My mouth almost hit's the floor as I look between the two girls, Beth basically doing the same thing. After a while both girls burst out laughing, Beth and I realized that they were both joking.
"look at there faces"
"they're whiter than usual," Ruby says laughing a bit harder.

A couple of hours later I get off work and walk over to Beth's house where Annie is already. I walk into the house and go to the kitchen seeing them getting ready to leave
"Yo where are you guys going I just got here," I ask
"we're going to the lingerie store to find out what Dean got" Annie explains. I nod and fallow my two sisters out the door and to the store.
Once we get to the store I walk in behind them and start actually looking around
"what are you doing?" Beth asks
