"Alright I got her," Jules said laying Rue down on her bed. Ashley looked around the room. It was fairly empty besides the messy bed, and clothes thrown on the floor. Jules came over and threw her gangly arms around Ashley. Ashley whimpered and winced at the slight pain. Jules gasped.
"I'm so sorry Ash," Jules said pulling away. Ashley just smiled and nodded her head. Fez cleared his throat and awkwardly looked around the room.
"We have to go Ash," Fez said. Ashley turned on her heels and walked to the door.
"Text me when Rue wakes up."

Fez and Ashley tiptoed back downstairs and out the door. Fez shuffles beside Ashley as they walked down the street. Ashley looked up at the stars.
"Ya know...this is not what I had in mind when Rue texted me," she finally admitted. Fez grunted and put his head down.
"I told her not to stay but she kept buggin'," Fez sniffed and wiped the back of his hand across his nose. Ashley stopped in her tracks and grabbed Fez's arm. It finally clicked.
"What the fuck Fez?" She whispered harshly. Fez pulled his arm away.
"What?"
"TR. You're still buying from fucking TR? You know -beep- is back!" Ashley said. It really hadn't dawned on her about the severity -beep- brings to the situation. Fez stared at her and Ashley rolled her neck.
"Hello tf? Earth to Fez -beep- is back!" Ashley yelled.
"That's not my problem. I ain't fuck him," Fez shouldered pass Ashley leaving her standing with her mouth open. Ashley watched as Fez walked to his car and opened the passenger door. Ashley flipped him the finger and kept walking.
"Ash c'mon you can't walk home!" Fez yelled but she had already made it around the corner. She marched straight towards the 24 hour gas station and walked into the convenience store. A homeless man sat at the front door nodding off in a tattered brown blanket. Ashley swung the door open and the bells chimed at the threshold. An older Asian man looked up at her from behind the counter. Ashley nodded her head and the man did the same. She walked down the main aisle peering down the ones she passed until she found the candy aisle.
"Damn, why the candy gotta be all the way down there," she exclaimed squatting down to grab a crunch bar. Someone in black jeans stepped beside her.
"My bad," she mumbled stepping over. Ashley surveyed the candy again and grabbed a bag of skittles. As she raised up she noticed yellow sneakers. As her eyes travelled up the persons body she trembled. Her eyes glazed over a large toned chest hugged by a yellow shirt. Then she noticed the dark, silky, wavy hair that brushed their broad shoulders. Once again, she wasn't able to see their eyes through their shades. It was -beep-.
"What's good Ash?" He said with a sly grin. Ashley felt as though he could peer through her even though she couldn't see his eyes. It felt invasive and made her feel vulnerable.
"L-lance," Ashley stammered. Lance's grin widened.
"Let's take a ride." He said hooking his muscular arm around her shoulders. He dragged her pass the Asian man and held up the candy bars.
"On the house," the small Asian man said with a smile. Lance chuckled and ushered Ashley out of the store. Outside the store all commotion at the gas station stopped. The men pumping their gas gave Lance the head nod. Lance returned it while opening the passenger side door. Ashley hesitantly slid in; her heart louder than her thoughts. Now, she regretted not getting into Fez's car. Fez would have drove her straight home. There's no telling where Lance will go. Lance hopped in, took off his shades, and turned on the air conditioner. He poked his thick and meaty finger into the space under the radio. He pulled out a thin square container and pulled out a blunt. He lit it with a lighter and inhaled. The smoke bellowed out in soft rolls of clouds. He took it from his lips and pressed it to hers.
"You still smoke?" He smiled. Ashley slowly parted her lips and took the blunt in. She inhaled and met his stare.
"That's my girl," Lance chuckled pulling off. Ashley let the smoke drag out from her lips. Ashley looked at her phone that lit up.

Mom: Where are you?
Dad: Where'd you go!
Fez: At least text me so I know you got home.

The car slowed to a stop at the light and Lance pulled his hair up into a bun. Ashley knew what this meant. I'm screwed.
