Ron and/or Harry, 3rd person pov

When was it that Ron first started to have feelings for Hermione? Well, he had always thought she was pretty. Even in the first year. He loved her frizzy hair and wild attempts to tame it. He thought she looked especially beautiful when she was mad, which was pretty much why he aggravated her as much as possible. Now, in 4th year, he reflected on the fact that it might not have been the best way to make Hermione like him. But in 3rd year, the year that Hermione had been mad the most, was the year that Ron had started to fancy her. But after last night....frankly, Ron was confused.

"What the bloody hell," he muttered to himself. The next bed over, Harry raised an eyebrow but decided it was just classic Ron, probably thinking about the Chudley Cannon's terrible season. Or, maybe Hermione.

After a late practice, the whole Quidditch team had walked in on an empty common room--except for Ron and Hermione nestled up together and asleep in an armchair. Harry grimaced, thinking (rightly so) that he was going to be the third wheel. Romione. Harry could live with that, he decided, as long as they didn't do the nasty in front of him or anything. He shuddered at that thought, and then went back to sleep.

Ron, however, could not fall asleep. "Bloody hell," he muttered again. The Quidditch team, unfortunately, included Fred and George. While the rest of the Quidditch team had tried to hold in their laughter, Fred and George paraded around sleeping Ron and Hermione singing,

"Ickle Ronnikins in LOVE..."

At the end of their show, Fred somehow produced fireworks and glitter from deep pockets inside of his robes. He coated Ron and Hermione with a fine layer of pink glitter and then popped the fireworks, which burst into exploding hearts. The whole Quidditch team laughed, except for Harry, who was rolling around on the floor in laughter.

Ron, very wisely, had been faking sleep as to avoid further embarrassment. Hermione! He realized with a start. She had probably been faking too! Ron cursed again. Could it have been any worse?

Right after the Quidditch team finished laughing and trudged off to bed, Ron had gently moved Hermione from his shoulder, then tapped her.

"We should probably go to bed now," he whispered. Hermione's had eyes opened carefully, fluttering a few times before she realized where she was. Then, her eyes opened wide and her eyebrows lifted so far into her head it looked comical. Without saying anything or looking back, she stood up and walked into her dormitory, shoulders back and head held high. Ron wondered if she knew that she was trailing glitter.

Honestly, there was no way Ron could have a relationship if Fred and George existed (hahahahah sorry everyone (I just made myself cry)). Ron cursed yet another time, waking up a bewildered Neville, as he realized that he was still covered in glitter.

Author's Note

Hello, fellow bibliophiles! You read to the second chapter!!!!!!!????? Crazy. Are your siblings as embarrassing as Ron's are? My sisters are equal to the teasing level of Fred and George. But I guess that's fair since I go out of my way to be even more embarrassing than the twins are to Ron. Let me know in the comments below!
