Jeighlee's P.O.V. I woke up to the sound of my alarm. Lucky I ain't have to work today because I'm off on Sundays. It was ten in the morning. Then I noticed I got a message from that fine ass girl. I got cleaned up and decided to clean the house. I cleaned the house as Mary J. Blige Share my world started playing. " This my shit on baby."I said to myself. 1 hour later I finished cleaning up and decided to go past my grandmother house for a while since she does cook on Sundays. I grabbed my purple bubble coat and headed out since it was starting to get chilly out. I got into my car as The things you do by Gina Thompson blasted. I admit I have an old soul but blame my mama not me, she played this type of music around me since I could remember. I finally pulled up to my grandmas house. I opened her front door with the key she gave me. As soon as I opened the door the smell of that food hit me. " Grandma I'm here". I said loudly. I heard her coming down the stairs. "Hey my pretty grandbaby."she said. "Hey grandma I missed you so much." I said back to her. "Come over here and give your grandma some sugar pretty girl." She said. I gave my grandmother a hug. For some reason when I hug my grandmother it's like the greatest feeling ever... somewhat like a good ass energy and cleansing over my body. "Grandma, what you cook...it smells so good." I said as my tummy grumbled. "I've cooked some macaroni and cheese, potato salad, candy yams, homemade rolls , spice cake with cream cheese frosting, and last but not least your favorite Haitian dish... soup joumou." She said. "Grandma knows best." I said. "Good now go sit down while I fix you a plate for now and a plate to go." She said. "Okay thank you granny." I told her. Damn my grandma really the goat. "Here you go baby." She said while giving me my food. "Thank you grandma." I said to her. My grandma knew how I liked my plate, she made sure my yams and macaroni was touching and she also knew how much proportion of food I ate as well, cause every time she fixed me a plate I ate the whole thing and got full afterwards. Hell I ain't even know how much I ate, I just ate as much as I can take. 45 mins pass by I finished eating my food as I was talking to my grandmother about work and the girl I met there. See my grandmamas like my best friend and she supported me no matter what decision I made but don't let that fool you cause she don't sugar coat for shit. "Ooh tell me more about her nui." She said excitedly. " I would granny but I gotta get ready for our date that's start at eight and it's five right now." I explained to her. " Ooh a date huh, make sure you be safe and have fun and you better tell me all the tea over next Sunday's dinner okay." She said. I laughed " Okay grandma you know I gotchu now give me some sugar granny." I said as I chuckled. I pulled out the driveway as my grandmother was waving at me bye. 30 mins later I finally got home and sent Reign my address. I took a quick shower and brushed my teeth again. I decided to change my wig to this bomb deep wavy "24"in black one. After I melted my wig into my scalp I then did light makeup with just highlighter, eyelashes, lip gloss, and dark brown lip liner. " Hmmm... what should I wear." I said as I spoke to myself. I decided to wear a one strap off the shoulder that was a crop top and glittery black. Along with a black fitted leather skirt accompanied with a ring belt. I wore a silver piece necklace with my gold bamboo earrings. I was finished getting dressed as Reign told me she was on the way. It was only 7:35 so I decide to watch some reruns of good times until she got here. 25 mins pass by Reign texted me she was outside so I threw on my big black teddy bear coat since I knew it'd be freezing since it was night time. I locked my door and went outside. I saw Reign and I couldn't help but to look at her. She look good enough to- " Jeighlee you look the damn beautiful." She said as she broke me out of my trance. I blushed as I said " Thank you and so do you, you look like a five star meal mami." I said as I bit and licked my lips. See there it is. It's something about her vibe, it's like I can feel that we both got something for each other.
