Chapter 2

The next morning Suman woke up with her hand close to her lips ,she felt a gentle warmth spread through her body last night .."Shravan ..." she whispered and slowly opened her eyes getting up and confusedly looking at her hand as if ...he kissed them ..She shook her head and freshened up ,she was relieved to have let him know how she felt he needed to know how much he meant to her!! She was honest with him last night sharing her emotions and if he still wanted hold a grudge it was going to just hurt him further .

Suman walked out in her T-shirt and Patiala pants ,with her hair tied up in a loose bun! She saw pushkar on the table dressed in his suit holding the newspaperand Shravan was wearing his tee and tracks making some breakfast, not dressed for work .

"Good morning Sumo!" Pushkar exclaimed as her eyes were on Shravan who quickly looked up to see her standing in the hall ,walking out towards them ..She gave out a light smile "Good morning .."she responded making her way to the kitchen where Shravan stood by the stove watching his eggs .

Pushkar noted a silence again and rolled his eyes "seriously guys! It's been 10 years and you still don't have anything to talk about!? Are you forgetting that you both used to chatter so much in class and at home that I needed to put ear plugs!" He remarked laughing

Shravan gazed at Suman who had her eyes lowered taking out a tea cup from the cupboard "He's a grown man now ...he's not the same "she was disappointed making herself realize the reality !He wasn't the same Shravan ,10 years is along time people change make new friends meet new people ! She came here thinking that he somewhere he will be ready to talk but no ,he didn't seem interested in anything she said or did!

Hearing this broke his heart seeing her so crushed and disappointed! She felt his eyes on her  and met his gaze that seem to be hurt!

"Well you also changed! You've become a beautiful woman and half of Delhi boys are waiting to ask for you hand in marriage!" Pushkar teased but Shravan became Vigilant and clutched his jaws unknowingly somewhere feeling aggravated that other guys had an eye  for her!! He saw her shaking her head unpleased . 

"Pushkar! Stop talking nonsense! And I haven't become beautiful I was always beautiful " She said taking out the toast from the toaster

Shravan smiled, he always found her pretty even when she would get angry .It went unnoticed by other guys at school but not from him..

" Shravan Bhaiya, Sumo got two wedding proposals and rejected both of them!" pushkar explained "We all were wondering the reason." his brows arched quizzically 

Shravan looked at Suman who sat on the dinning table with her tea "Because I was concentrating on my PCT!" She answered with a little hesitance in her voice ,she was the only one who knew the real reason why she rejected those proposals !

Shravan also sat with them and smiled lightly somewhere relieved that she rejected those suitors ! "Well I think ...her business is her priority right now so she has every right to reject them .." he backed up as she glanced up at him as he seemed to be yearning to talk to her !!!She spread the jam on her toast offering Pushkar one but he refused and then she hesitantly offered Shravan who shook his head with a smile ...

"Pushkar .."She slowly brought up a conversation getting the boys attention  "I was thinking of shortening my stay , Nanu is under the weather and I'm worried for him " she explained making an excuse ,Shravan felt guilty seeing her want to leave early because the way he behaved with her

"Sumo ,Nanu will be fine ,your whole family is there to watch over him! It's barely been one week your here!" Pushkar rebuked

"I know ...I just feel it's better to go ..." she glanced up only to see Shravan looking at her sadly,she pursed her lips confused at his expressions
