Complications

This is the story.

You wake up and you've got the last of your things all packed and ready to move out. This is your first time living alone and you're both excited and scared for the future but your best friend Angela will be over all the time so it will be alright! You get into your car with Angela and start driving to your new apartment. You start to move in and you get to the bigger stuff and you and Angela can't lift it on your own. Someone comes running out of the building with a bunch of fruit roll up wrappers. "He's really cute!" Angela whispers to you. As soon as she finishes her sentence a girl comes around the corner and she's really short and pretty. She whispers to the guys "Jake! Go see if those girls need help!!" Jake says "Tara we have to throw these wrappers away! I can't help with things with my hands full baby!" Angela says "Shit!" And you laugh. They come back and then Jake offers to help and you introduce yourselves. Jake asks if you guys are single and Tara looks at him confused. He turns to her and says "Not for me! For Colby and Mike!" She looks reassured. Angela says "Well y/n for sure is!" And you nudge her and you both laugh and continue moving things in. After a day or two you get everything inside and decide to go out and get drinks. You're 21 so it's legal. It's later in the night around 8 pm and you and Angela are getting ready and you decide to change into this *swipe* you go out and you get black out drunk.You wake up with a someone's number on your hand and your phone, wallet, and keys are all on you're counter. You assume Angela put your stuff their but you still don't know who's number it is. You decide to take a shower because you smell like sweat and vodka. You get into the shower and change into shorts and a baggy shirt. You get out and grab your phone and go to dial the number and you realize you washed it off in the shower. "Shit." you thought. "I thought it was sharpie." You figure it was just some fuckboy who wasn't worth your time anyways and go on with your day. Then Angela calls you. She says "Tara invited us to go out with her and her friends Katrina and Devyn." You thought about it and decided to go again. You all go to Devyns house and she did all of your makeup and it looked so good. You got dressed in this *swipe* and all of the girls compliment you. You decide early on in the night that you don't want to get wasted because you're not a good drunk most of the time and you don't want to make a bad impression. All of the girls are getting drunk so you're the reasonable one making sure no one goes home with anyone sketchy. You all are dancing and having a blast and then you bump into someone. You turn around and he's so cute so you say "I'm so sorry!" You're so embarrassed you start to blush so bad you can see your red cheeks through your foundation. He says it's fine and you guys start to dance and you talk all night. You eventually get his name which is Colby. You make sure all the girls get home safe and then you call Colby his number was on your palm and you wrote it down Incase anything happened. He was blackout drunk like you were the night before but you hadn't done anything for almost a year so you went for it. You finished and realized the condom feelings broke but you didn't say anything to worry him and you were on birth control. You both fell asleep. You woke up to a note on the counter and Colby gone. It said "idk who you are or what we did but text me ;)" and his number at the end. You went to the bathroom to get your birth control to take it for that day and realized took the the last one yesterday or day before. You figured it would be fine and then remembered the note you saw. You then quickly texted him and realized he had no clue what happened last night. You said that you guys almost had sex and then you decided not to because he was drunk and then you both fell asleep. You didn't want to worry him because you don't know him.

Flash forward 1 month
You and Colby are now best friends and you are having morning sickness. You just assumed it was a strange cold but it wouldn't go away. You forgot about you and Colby's... night. So you have no clue what could be happening. You decided to go to the doctors in a week. In that week you met all of Colby's friends. There was one that you met that seemed just off. His name was Mike but you couldn't seem to figure out why. You just kind of went with it. It was the day of the doctors and Colby refused to let you drive yourself so you both went and you told the doctor your symptoms he said he was going to send a female in and you and colby both looked at each other. The doctor said she thought you were pregnant and then she said she would give you an ultrasound. She did and you were pregnant. She left the room as you remembered you and Colby's...night. You looked at Colby worried and he comforted you making sure you knew everything was going to be alright. You then told him everything and started crying because you were worried and you felt bad and a wave of emotions came over you. The doctor came back and she said she couldn't tell you the gender but told you the due date. You and Colby went home and you agreed not to tell anyone yet. Colby stayed with you that night and went home the next day and Angela came over. You ended up telling her because you couldn't keep it in and Colby came back over and told you that Mike said that you two had sex the night before you and Colby did. When he gave you his number when you met you knew it looked familiar but didn't think of it. As soon as you heard that you panicked and told Colby about the condom with him and he knew it was his. You didn't know whether you and Mike used one so you texted him telling him everything. Then you figure out that you didn't. Mike said he pulled out in time for sure. You were relieved. You and Colby decided to start dating.

Flash forward 4 months
You've been dating for 4 months now and you're in month 5 of your pregnancy. Everyone knows and your relationship is public. You had Kat find the gender and set up a gender reveal where Colby put paint on his hands and put them on your stomach. You found out it was a girl!! You guys were ecstatic! This made you think of your mom and dad who died 3 years ago. You cried when you got home and Colby cuddled until you fell asleep. He sat and smiled at you until he fell asleep too. Everyone is so supportive of you guys they weren't at first but they are now.

Flash forward 5 months
You're now giving birth and Colby has been there for you as long as you've known and he's there for your birth. You gave birth and you named it Emma Grace Brock. One year later, the day after her birthday you were all hanging out and you hired your cousin to babysit Emma while Colby took you out on a nice date. While you guys were there he proposed and Angela filmed while Kat took pictures. Then Colby said that he wanted to get a DNA test to find out if Emma's his or not. He also said "Whether she's mine or not wont change anything I just want to confirm it." You both smiled and you agreed. Two weeks later you got a DNA test and get the results and Emma's not his, meanings she's Mikes. You don't know how to feel but you both decide to keep it from him and not tell him. Colby's upset but like he said he's still there for Emma and she knows he's not her dad but that doesn't matter to either of them.

Flash forward a long time
Emma's 18 now and her and Colby have a great relationship. Mike is completely removed from the entire friend groups lives for trying to lie to Emma and say that he wasn't her real father and that you and Colby were just lying to her. Then he completely denied her for years until he tried to take full custody of her. It was denied. You guys are now living an amazing life and your parents would be very proud.
