What's happening?! What's going on?!

The questions raced around in circles inside Silence's head as the world seemed to fly by him. The man known as Von and the woman, Winny, were roughly dragging him down the alleyway. Winny kept her gun up and ready to fight off anything that came near them. Von had thrown Silence over his shoulder again, so all Silence could see was Winny's frantically waving guns as the creatures around them shrieked and screamed, inching forward from the dark as the sky thundered over head.

Silence peered up at the sky past his dark hair, breathing hard through his nose as the duct tape remain stuck over his mouth. He writhed a little more, whimpering and  trying to rip the duct tape off his wrists, but to no avail.

Why had they left him? Why were they letting these people take him? Was it because he walked off without him? He couldn't understand it and the more he tried, the more his head ached and his chest tightened. He felt like crying.

They had abandoned him.

What was going to happen now?

Would he go back to prison?

The questions flowed as Von led the way through several alleys before coming out into a large parking lot. Silence growled as Von grabbed his butt roughly, making the man laugh as he turned so Silence could see what lay on the other side of the parking lot. Silence's eyes widened.

On the other side of the parking lot was a tall building that still seemd to sparkle cleanly amongst the rubble around it. Lights lit up behind the front doors where a couple of guards stood with machine guns, their round helmets and visors hiding their faces as they waved to Von and Winny, who waved back. Von turned back and approached the gates, pocketing his gun as Winny kept hers on the parking lot behind them.

Silence watched as a creature started to approach the parking lot, but Winny only had to fire one bullet to hit the monster in the head, sending it crumpling to the ground. Silence's eyes widened and he looked at Winny, who blew on the barrel of her gun before smirking at Silence.

"If you try to escape, that will also become you." She stated. Silence winced, then growled as Von grabbed at him again.

"We've brought the brat." He told the guardsmen, who nodded. One went to a keypad and hit a few buttons before the glass doors opened and Von walked inside a large, glowing lobby. A chandelier hung over a big fountain with the status of Athena at the center, holding a book and an owl on her shoulder. Men in white lab coats had been scurrying around until they spotted the visitors.

"Yo! Opal! Get your ass out here!" Von's voice echoed throughout the entire lobby, making several women roll their eyes in disgust and the men scowl. One man in particular came forward, lowering a clipboard to his side. His chic glasses rested on a strong, Italian nose with dark brown eyes glaring under a dark blonde fringe.

"Von, we told you to quit yelling. Those things can hear you from in here and the last thing we need is another escape. We lost two of our best researchers because of your negligence." He snapped angrily. Von snorted.

"I have something that'll make up for that. Look what papa brought home for you ladies and gents to poke and prode like a Thanksgiving turkey." He stated, giving Silence a bump and making him growl. Several men and women cried out and leapt away, dropping their clipboards and coffee. The Italian researcher's eyes grew wide as he held his clipboard in front of him, but hesitantly came around to look at Silence.

The teenager glared at the man, his blue eyes darkening as his black hair fell in his face. He growled past the duct tape and wriggled in Von's grip until Von smacked him hard on the butt, making him yelp.
