OP!

Silence arched back up, his teeth bared as a shadow moved in front of the doorway. Skull started to continue his way on down the hallway, but he stopped and a smirk came on his face. Silence felt an alarm go off in his head.

He knows I'm here!

Without another moment of hesitation, Skull was whirling to face the door as Silence lunged to attack, only to have Skull grab his throat harshly. Skull's good, beefy hand caught him around his thin throat, fingers digging into his skin. Silence gasped for air, choking. His hands flung up and began to claw, but Skull continued to clench tightly despite the blood that gushed past his fingers. Silence gurgled, eyes squeezing shut tightly. Skull lifted him off the ground, nails cutting into the soft throat in his grip.

"Well, well, came back for a little revenge? Sorry, mutt, but you're fuckin' with the wrong man." He sneered and spat in Silence's face. Silence yipped as the saliva hit his cheek and dribbled down. He sucked in a huge breath and attempted a threatening snarl, but Skull swung him around and slammed him hard into a wall. Silence gasped in pain.

"For my arm." Skull seethed and reeled Silence back, then slammed him into the wall again. This time, Silence's head cracked against the wall. Black fuzz began to close around Silence's vision as stars danced across, threatening to barrel him into the pit of unconsciousness.

"For my brother." Skull tore him around and slammed him into the floor. Silence hit the floor, hard, and clawed at it helplessly as he tried to suck in air in sharp, hoarse gasps. His feet kneaded at the tiles desperately and he tried to pull himself out of the path of Skull's foot, but he wasn't fast enough and the foot collided with his gut. Blood burst past Silence's lips and dribbled down his chin as he curled up into a tight little ball on the floor, whimpering.

"Not so tough now... Definitely not as tough as the monsters outside this place." Skull sneered and knelt down on one knee, grabbing a handful of Silence's hair, jerking the teenager's head up so they're faces were inches a part.

"Oh, but I can't kill you quickly... Never show mercy. It's too bad you learned that lesson at the very end." The inmate laughed almost maniacally and Silence finally managed a sound.

"OOOOOP!" He wailed, then choked off to suck in more air. Skull winced at the yell in his ear, then glared.

"Shut the hell up, bitch." He threw Silence to the floor, only to grab the front of his shirt and slam his head against the tiled floor. A sickening crack rang out and Silence grew dazed, but he repeated his word in a mumble.

"Oooop... Oooop.... Toooooop...... Ssss...." Silence fell against the floor, head lolling to the side as his eyelids fluttered shut. Skull smirked, taking in the lovely scene. A little teenager dressed in only an oversized shirt with that skin that shouldn't glow like that, with hair as black as raven's feather and soft as velvet. Lips now stained a deep red and dark, dark lashes that created a cresent over pale skin.

Skull leaned down, hovering over Silence with his legs on either side of the teen. He reared his body up so that he was on top of the kid. A sick grin came across his face and he reached out toward that face.

SCHLUCK

"AGHHHH!!" Skull roared and his jaw dropped in horror. Silence's head had whipped around faster than a cobra and his teeth were now sinking into the man's beefy fist. Silence's eyes were black, black as his hair, black as the shadows around him, black as death. Gone with the pretty sea blue, gone with the child-like innocent.

Greetings to the predatory instinct, hunger, and rage.

Silence whipped his head to the side, ripping off Skull's thumb and forefinger. Skull choked and reeled his fist back, staring at it in horror before he swung his other sore arm out of its sling. The fist collided with Silence's jaw, but Silence ignored it and snarled viciously. He flung himself into a sitting position and grabbed his arms around Skull's neck, burying his face into the man's throat.

Literally.

Silence's jaws almost seemed to unhinge as he parted his lips, crashing his jagged teeth down into the man's thick, fleshy throat. Blood exploded at Silence's face, splattering up in his hair and on his shirt. Skull choked and gasped, his hands tearing up to jerk at Silence's shirt. Silence gnawed and tore open the thick throat, until Skull had halted his thrashing and wriggling. The large man merely slumped backwards and Silence climbed over him, tearing away at his flesh.

So warm...! So delicious. So good! He thought in ectasy, burrowing a hole in the man's throat until his head was merely hanging by a thread of flesh. Silence ate and he ate and he ate. Unaware of the footsteps that came racing down the hallway toward the room. Completely ignoring the shadow that appeared in the doorway, the shadow that reached for the lights, flicking the switch on.

"Silence!"

The sound of Jared's voice made Silence freeze, but not look up, only stare. Stare straight ahead into the lifeless face of Skull as he held a chunk of meat in his hands, blood splattered on his face.

Jared stared in horror, frozen completely in the doorway. Skull lay flat on his back, his head almost completely torn off with blood spurting free from his torn open throat. Silence sat on his chest, holding a disgusting chunk of unidentifiable meat, blood caking him from head to toe.

"Oh god... Oh god, Silence..." Jared managed. His stomach churned and he felt bile rising in his throat. He clasped a hand over his mouth and stumbled back, tripping and falling on his bottom as he watched Silence drop the meat, as if he was horrified by his own actions.

"Uhh...." Silence only uttered a moan of distress, running his hands up through his hair, stumbling back. Jared couldn't move. His body was frozen, his heart pounding in his ears. Silence stared at the mess before him and looked over at Jared to see his terrified expression.

"Oh! Oh!" He cried, his tone distressed. The sound wasn't how he wanted it to come out. It was all coming out wrong, what was going on?

No! No! His face... Don't look at me like that, Jared.... Please don't... I hate that face. Don't look at me like that! Stop! Stop! I'm not a monster! I couldn't help it! I was angry, I was freaked out! You would've done the same thing! Oh god, his face is still like that! Why can't I tell him what happened?! Why can't I say anything?! Silence thought in agony and dropped his hands to the tiles before he crawled over to Jared, who was stiffening.

"J-Jesus Christ," Jared was stuttering, "Holy Lord. Oh God... Silence, what've you done...?" Silence stopped a foot away, looking at Jared with blue, blue eyes. He whined in frustration and hurt.

"Op... Op..." He was repeating painfully. Jared seemed to snap out of his stunned horror to look at Silence, eyes wide. The look on Silence's face wasn't that of a killer, nor did he look obscenely unhealthy anymore. His skin seemed to glow, he looked much less bony, his eyes were a brighter blue than before, and his hair was a shiny midnight black.

"It's all you need," Jared murmured in awe, "That's why you looked terrible... You need it to keep yourself alive... Oh god. And if you stop eating..." Silence sank low to the tiles, moaning.

"Reeeee.... Reeee.... Sssuhhh...." He slammed his fist into the tile with a cry of frustration and continued to punch at the tiles until Jared reached out and grabbed his wrists.

"Silence, stop! Stop... I know what you're trying to say.... I know you're sorry." He said softly. Silence's eyes seemed to well up and his lips moved, but no sound came out. At least, at first anyway. After a moment of lip moving silence, the teenager began to scream.
