Hoon laughed nervously as he shook his head, "It's n-nothing," he stuttered. Kiseop could easily make out he's lying and scoffed as he gave him a death glare, "Don't tell me, then. I'll just complain to your parents about how you snuck into the girls' dorm the other day."
Hoon gasped, "You wouldn't!" Laughing lightly, a smug smile stretched across his friend's face as he took out his phone, "Just watch me." Thumb hovering over the call button, he counted down, "3...2..."
"Okay, fine!" Hoon shouted. "I'll tell you. Just...please don't tell on me. They'll...cancel my subscription for the sports' channels," he pouted.
"Stop being a pinhead and spill already," Kiseop chuckled as he stuffed his phone back in his pocket and rested his chin on his palm as he looked at him, Hoon, who was trying to search for what to say. He sighed as he finally gave in, "The couple," he said quietly. "It's...your parents."
"My what?" Kiseop asked, shocked.
"Your parents...your...real...parents..." he replied as he looked down. "I...need...to go..." he said as he got up and made his way towards the door. Kiseop followed as he stood in front of him, making him stop, "Tell me more," he said in the most serious tone, it was scary. He had never acted like this.
"I can't," he shouted. "I've already said too much!"
Kiseop flicked his forehead as he hissed, "Tell me or you can say bye-bye to your precious sports' channels."
A spark of desperation flickered in his eyes. Noticing how pleading they looked, Kiseop admitted, "I thought so."
Hoon lowered his tone a little, "That child in the middle is you, alright? It's you before your parents died! I'm sorry I had to say it like this. But, I think you have a right to know. Please don't tell anyone I said this...they'll kill me."
He turned the doorknob, but before heading out, glanced at Kiseop, "Stay strong."
Kiseop, who now had tears in his eyes, nodded and waved him goodbye, "Thank you, Hoon."
Anger thick in his eyes, and heart slowly breaking, he looked at the picture then himself in the mirror, "Whoever you are," he growled. "Posing as my father, I will get an explanation...and you will be sorry for never telling me."
