New Power Part II

Sakura's house

Sakura's P.O.V

*SLAM*

*CRASH*

*BOOM*

I groaned irritably at hearing all of the destructive sounds. After I had gone through the Tsukuyomi (which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be) I had seen how the energy had flowed and tried to re-do it but every time I had tried I got these burns wherever I tried to concentrate it. If I tried to bring it to my hands, they would get burned, my feet, burn, it sucked!

'It's just harder to control than chakra, with something new like this it just means that it'll take a longer amount of time to get used to it.' Was what I had kept telling myself, but I didn't realize how wrong I was until Ino of all people had actually gained control of her power. I was pretty discouraged after that. I mean, I have perfect chakra control! So why can't I control this?

To be honest I was pretty close to giving up, but a few encouraging words from Hinata and Tenten changed my mind. And now that I think about it, giving up would be a stupid idea, it would do nothing but prove the people who think I couldn't do it right and the people who thought that I could do it wrong. So I kept trying. Of course this all started with those shooting stars about four weeks ago, and Ino learned her powers about a week ago. And now she gets to expand her control and the more time she spends getting stronger the more time I waste getting weaker.

For the past couple of days the girls had been training with Ino, thinking that maybe fighting or coming in contact with someone who has the power will help awaken their own power.

I would have joined them but I think Ino fighting two people at once is enough; they would all be able to concentrate more that way. Besides, I've been called weak my whole life just because I was born into a civilian family, I'm used to it, these guys aren't, they have more to prove than I do...

I on the other hand wanted to simply meditate, see if that would help. And during my meditation I guess I fell asleep, because the next thing I see I know for a fact it wasn't real, it couldn't be.

Dream;

I had suddenly felt the wind blow through my hair making my eyes flutter open. But when I did I saw nothing but a blue sky and white clouds.

'Where am I?' I thought confusedly.

'So I see you've finally... in the... of your.... My name is...."

I tried to suppress a gasp when I turned around because there was man who was standing on the hilt of his sword. I didn't catch all of what he said but that didn't matter to me, I was still too shocked. I didn't know who he was or what he was doing here... or how he even got here!

"I see, so you aren't ready yet. Soon though girl you will be able to wield me and become my new master just as my previous master once did. The next time you come here I hope you will leave with my sword in hand. Until then... Sakura Haruno..."

End Dream;

My eyes snapped open and I was back in my house, almost as if I was only dreaming. I had to have been. It's the only explanation. That, that couldn't have been real, right?
