"On the up side Sakura, ANBU squad one should be returning from their long term mission today. Any second now I believe." At that I gave a small smile. That means Itachi, Shisui and Genma will be home again.

Itachi...

With a new smile on my face and replacement teammates forgotten I look toward the sky with a shit eating smile on my face, just waiting for him.

Sakura's POV

I take my time as I walk down the steps for the Hokage tower. Once outside I see my friends waiting there for me.

"You know you guys didn't have to wait for me right?"

"We wanted to forehead girl, you should be flatterd!"

I scoff a bit at that, "Sure pig, you have my absolute gratitude." I told her sarcastically as Tennie and Hinata both laughed while Ino pouted.

"You're so mean to me Sakura!" Ino whined playfully.

"Oh shut it pig, you know you love me." Ino clicked her tongue before throwing an arm around my shoulders.

"You know I do." She said laughingly. "So what did Tsunade want to talk to you about?"

At her question my mood almost immediately soured. "I get new teammateas tomorrow to replace Sasuke, Naruto and Kakashi-sensei."

Their reactions were the exact opposite of mine as they all beamed in excitement.

"That's great! Now if the guys ever decide to come back they'll need to have an all new team and basically start over!"

'Not exactly.' I thought as the girls kept talking about how 'great' it all was.

All they need is four more girls to replace us considering they have more that half of a four man squad each team.

'But they won't be team 7, 8, or 10 anymore.'

'No, but they'll still be team Kakashi, Team Kurenai, Team Asuma and Team Gai.'

'Way to be a downer outer.'

'Shut up inner, don't you have some emo corner to wallow in and leave me alone?'

Not two seconds later did my inner self disappear into the deepest; darkest corner of my mind, so far back I couldn't even sense her anymore.

'Now that's more like it.' I thought just as I felt the familiar chakras of Itachi, Shisui and Genma and watched as they appeared before us.

"Hiya Princess!" Shisui shouted as he was the first one to appear and hug me. I giggled as he spun me around in circles before setting me down and doing the same to the other girls with their very own nicknames; Sugar for Hinata; Cupcake for Ino; and Bunbun for Tenten.

"Hey there squirt." Genma said as he and Itachi appeared next and ruffled my hair before walking towards the other girls to greet them.

"Blossom." Itachi greeted me making me blush a bit.

"Weasel-kun." I greeted back and watched as a small smile soon appeared on his face. I slowly walked towards him and wrap my arms around his torso and bury my face into his chest, he in turn wrapped his arms around my shoulders and tucked my head under his chin as we stood there for a moment. Unbeknownst to us our friends were staring at us with smirks on their faces.
