Needle
All he heard was yelling. Needle had been put to bed a while ago but he was woken by his parents fighting. He groggily drugged himself out of bed still holding onto his blanket as he made his way to the source of the noise to see what was going on. "I know I've been gone it's not my fault! We are in the middle of a war I've got responsibilities as a leader over this side of the kingdom!" Elaine, his mom was about to come back with something until she saw Needle. Usually women didn't speak much but she was fired up. She gave Valerio a death glare then her face softened to her son "everything's ok go back to bed sweetheart" Needle didn't listen he just went up and hugged Elaine's leg. Valerio huffed "your going to make him soft babying him like that" he referred to Elaine petting his hair. When she didn't respond Valerio turned,walked out slamming the door behind him. Elaine winced at the noise before bending down carefully to hold her son "did we wake you up?"she asked cupping the toddlers cheek with her hand. Needle simply nodded before tackle hugging her ,making her fall back on the floor. Luckily she didn't have far to fall."Careful sweetie" Elaine reminded him,she was pregnant with Needles little brother. "Sorry mom"whispered needle. "It's Alright don't worry about it". Curiously, Needle looked at his moms stomach. "When is he going to come I want to meet him." Elaine laughed kissing the child's forehead. "Soon, maybe next month" Needle yawned while nodding his head setting his head on her chest. Elaine picked him up and put him back to bed. "Night momma..night bubba"Needle mumbled as Elaine tucked him in. "Love you momma"gently Elaine bent over and kissed his forehead goodnight "love you to dear, sleep well"
