Mya
Late that night Lily shook Mya from her slumber. "What momm-""shh stay quite"Lily said in a hushed tone. That's when Mya noticed the sound of the front door being forcefully opened. "Mommy?" Mya whispered,terrified by what was taking place. They found her and they were going to kill her. She was young and naive to most bad in the world but this was the one thing she knew. "Hide in the closet like we practiced ok?"Lily whispered getting Mya off the bed and flipping the mattress so it was cold and fixing the blankets as if no one had slept on it. Mya got in the closet as Lily went to the hallway to greet their unwanted guests. "What are you doing in my house you have no right to be here!" Lily yelled but the guards just pushed her up against the wall searching the rooms. Mya peeked through the closet door as one of the guards walked in,carefully inspecting the whole room. When he looked to the closet Mya stumbled back knocking something over causing a loud bang. Quickly the guard went towards her hiding place so she thrust opened the door and ran as fast as she could. Lily noticed her take off and threw herself at the guards. "Mom!" Mya stopped when she noticed what had just happened. "Go! I love you!" The child stumbled back and started running. Once she was out of the house a gun firing. At that moment Mya knew she had lost the only family she would ever had and she had no clue where to go so she just kept running as the tears streamed down her face. Eventually the girl just fell on the ground in exhaustion in front of the big house on the hill.
