Flashback:

One hour ago:

In the hotel room after Sanaa and Rehan left:

"I'm sorry, Fireball." Abhay said in a genuinely regretful tone

"Why are your sorry Abhay?" Vaish asked and opened her eyes to look at him while he just kept his head down not meeting her eyes.

She stood from her position and kneeled in front of him.

Taking his hand in hers she said, "I'm proud of you Abhay. I really am. Not because I love you but because you are really a good person. You helped an old lady even if you knew that helping her might make a bad impression on your in laws but you kept her needs above your own. I came here as soon as I got to know that you are late; not because I was angry but because I knew for a fact that my Abhay won't be late without a genuine reason and he is too modest to explain his reasons in front of others." Vaish said and Abhay fell in love with her once again.

"And what were you saying about not being a businessman and impressing my father? Well to tell you a secret, I never wanted to marry a businessman because if both are having same profession then life will become so boring, right? Also, if we both are in same profession then we both will have competition between us about who is better? You saved us from a lifelong headache! Now you can be the best in your field and I will be best in mine." Vaish simply said and Abhay grinned widely at her reasoning.

"As for not telling about your parents, I respect your privacy Abhay and I know that you don't like to talk about that topic, not before you get comfortable with the people in front of you and I know that it will take some time before reaching at that level with my parents. You can't do that in first meeting." She said and he felt a huge burden leaving his shoulder and his heart feeling swollen by the level of her understanding.

He made her get up from her position and secured her in his lap. She gently massaged his hairs and hugged him tightly enjoying the moment.

"As for disagreeing with my father, well he needs a son in law not an employee who will take his orders. In a family we have arguments and we need to say our honest opinions to our family members. So don't think too much about it." She says and Abhay just smiles and kisses her forehead.

Vaish kept on rubbing his back and he just inhaled her scent to calm himself. Her presence itself calmed him but her words were his strength and erased all his doubts.

"Fireball?" Abhay spoke after few seconds of silence.

"Hmm..."

"I also spilled water on your father's suit." Abhay confessed and felt her stopping her actions at once.

She looked at him weirdly for few seconds before busting into fits of laughter.

"You did what?" Vaish said and again busted.

"Abhay Singh that is such a great first impression to make. I'm sure our grandchildren will laugh over how clumsy and nervous their grandpa was to meet his father in law!" Vaish said and started laughing again.

"You are laughing like this now but you haven't seen your father's reaction. He was really angry. He even said that I should not call him uncle. He will never accept me in the family, Fireball!" Abhay said in a worried tone and Vaish stopped laughing at once.
