The group walked in to see a clear room with some type of stage in the middle, chairs and table around the corners of the room and an empty area neer some bookshelves.
"Alright, you all can either sit on the chairs on stand up near the stage. We're going to be covering what Lockheart should've today."
The group of students nod, either darting for a comfy chair or calling dibs on one. Harry ended up in the closest to the Professor, Ron and Hermione beside him.
"Alright, if you'd like a chair, then you can just ask." Professor Black pointed out, taking a glace at the Slytherins fighting over who stands. He casts a spell and another three appear.
The Professor then reaches into what seems like a satchel and takes out a few writing books, having magic hand them around.
"Take notes in these, dont worry, it wont be all lecture." He laughs, passing muggle erasable pens to three of the houses, having given Slytherin quills that dont run out of ink.
He then went into a lecture about three different spells, two offence and one defence. He had ranted about a spell that froze the victim, having Dumbledore change the curriculum a bit.
"Now, who can tell me the spells and uses i had just talked about?" A few hands came up, majority being girls. But instead of picking a girl, he picked someone else.
"Harry, Hermione and Ronald." He called out. "I hope you dont mind me calling you that, Weasley, Granger." Ron grins. "Not at all Professor." They chime.
Hermione speaks the first spell, ranting about the uses for it. Ron speaks next. "The shield charm is.." it went on until Harry took his turn.
"The freezing charm is Immobulus, its makes whatever your magic had aimed out freeze until you stop focusing. Its helpful in a situation that you need to have something still in." Regulus nods at Harrys attempt to make sense.
"Yes, now, i would like..Harry and Mr Malfoy to come up please. But first, i have your very own Professor Flitwick and Professor McGonagall to help me with a demonstration of what you two are going to do."
As if on cue, Professor Flitwick came and stood on a high stool, McGonagall walking on the platform, both of which nobody had noticed.
"Ready, Minerva?" The Professor nods. Flitwick goes through some sort of a rules and regulations, then setting them off with his last words. "Now, duel! Defence only!"
Professor McGonagall had went first, sending a clash of red light at Professor Black. Black shields it and sends an Expelliarmus at the woman. She bearly misses it. She casts the same spell, a stunner, at Black again, but he blocks it and the duel only went on from there, Black finishing it with another "EXPELLIARMUS!"
The children clapped as the two Professors walked off the platform, not having any injuries thanks to there being a cushion charm on the floor.
Harry and Malfoy walk on the platform, knowing that they're doing a duel. "Hey, Professor Black? What house were you in?" Malfoy asks, making Black sigh. "Being your second cousin, Draco, you should know i had been a Slytherin, but i wont let house favoritism get in the way of a duel."
Draco glares. Malfoy had started to duel, Harry shooting back with Stupefy. He flies on the floor, having Regulus Black helps him up, taking the spell off with a warning that if he doesn't avoid it there will be no one to help in battle.
The named Professor's eyes widen at the next spell. A long python erupted from the end of Malfoys wand, making the neerby Professor Flitwick squeak and fall off the chair, having Black catch him.
