Chapter 3

I wake up and get ready for school, mainly waiting for me and Grayson's date today. I make me some cereal and wear something casual, I put my hair up in a ponytail ready to go to Melbourne Highschool in Melbourne, Florida. Ethan pulls up in front of my house and honks the horn. When I get out of my house and lock the door I see Grayson is in the car. I walk towards the car but then my neighbor, Jacob comes out and runs after me.

Jacob: Hey there.
Y/N: Hi, Jacob.
Jacob: So I was wondering if I could come over today and you know and just hang with you?
Y/N: Um... How about no.
Jacob: Oh come on please I'll be good I promise.
Y/N: Jacob could you please leave me alone I have to get to school.
Jacob: Not until you let me come over.

Then I hear Grayson yell.

Grayson: Hey babygirl you coming?
Y/N: Yeah in a little bit.
Jacob: Who are you?
Grayson: I'm her boyfriend.

I'm shocked as I hear the word "boyfriend" I tell Jacob that he can't come over and that I have to get to school I get in Ethan's car and sit in the front seat. Jacob watches me as I do so. Then I give Grayson a kiss just to give Jacob some proof.

Y/N: Thanks Gray.
Grayson: Anytime babygirl.
Ethan: Well that was uncalled for.
Y/N: Sorry E the kiss was just to show Jacob that I'm not interested in him.
Ethan: Good. But I wouldn't mind if you and Gray dated I could honestly care less.

Me and Grayson stared at each other for a little bit then looked straight ahead the rest of the car ride was silent.

We get to school and I go to first period which is Ms. Charles's Biology class. As I'm on my way the Oreo Squad pop in my face. They're called the Oreo Squad because it involves 2 black people and 1 white person. The first cookie is Mia, the cream is Sienna, and the second cookie is Shanah. They stop me in the middle of the hall for nothing.

Sienna: Omg hi y/n.
Y/N: Hey, Sienna.
Shanah: We just wanted to say how iconic your ponytail is.
Mia: Yeah it's so cute.
Sienna: But the rest of your outfit it's kind of bland.
Shanah: Yeah.
Mia: Totally.
Sienna: Well that's all have a nice day, toodles.

I walk into Ms. Charles's class and sit down in the back. Ms. Charles's begins class with asking us if we did our homework assignment. I turn mine in and get ready for another boring Biology class. Biology passed by really fast and I move on to Mr. Smith's math class. I give him my homework and he teaches us about how to solve X. Then we move on to Ms. Colon's Reading class. I turn in my essay and prepare for some more reading about Ancient China. Then we go to Coach Richards PE class and just do some laps around the track. Then the day is over Ethan drives me home and Grayson tells me he'll be there at 6pm I tell him ok and head inside. I go on my phone until Grayson gets here he knocks on the door and I answer.

Grayson: Hey, babygirl
Y/N: Hi
Grayson: So I was wondering if we could hang out here for a little bit before we go to Chipotle?
Y/N Yeah sure.

Grayson comes inside and sits on the couch I get out some chips and sit on the couch with him.

Y/N: Want to watch a movie?
Grayson: Yeah sure.

I go on Netflix and put on Thor Ragnarok. As the movie starts Grayson puts his arm around me and cuddles with me. When we're about 30 minutes into the movie he says that we should get going. I pause the movie and head outside and lock the door.

Grayson: You ready to go?
Y/N: Yup.
Grayson: Let's go.

We pull up to Chipotle and Grayson opens the door for me. We get inside and we wait in line when it's our turn I order a bowl and Grayson orders a burrito. When we sit down Grayson starts asking me questions.

Grayson: So where are you from?
Y/N: Pennsylvania. How about you?
Grayson: New Jersey. What's your favorite color?
Y/N: Green and Blue. You?
Grayson: Purple. What's your shoe size?
Y/N: 4. You?
Grayson: wait wait wait. You're a size 4 in shoes.
Y/N: Yes. Now shut up.
Grayson: I'm a size 9. What's your most embarrassing story?
Y/N: There was this one time when my dad was in the bathroom when he and my mom were alive, my dad was taking so long in the bathroom and I really had to pee so I peed in the trash can.
Grayson: No way, seriously?
Y/N: Yup.
Grayson: Wow. My most embarrassing story was when Ethan spray painted my car and I had to drive 2 hours with the spray paint on it just to get it repainted.
Y/N: Wow that's so funny.
Grayson: It was the worst day of my life.

Grayson scooted closer to me and leaned in. I kissed him and he kissed me. It was one of the best kisses I've ever had. When we finished our food it was around 7:30pm. Grayson took me home and we finished the movie. When the movie was over Grayson kissed me goodbye and he left. Once again I felt like I was on air.
