Chapter 5

"It's points on a map."

"It is?"

"Yeah, it is. Can I use your phone?"

"Yeah, but don't you have one?"

"No," I say as he gives me his phone. I go into maps and look up the address. It's in Hawaii. I can't believe it's in Hawaii. Of all the places in the country, it was Hawaii. "Well, where is it?"

"Hawaii."

"What!?"

"Hawaii."

"Yeah, I heard you the first time, but why on the other side of the country. They could have chosen like Florida or something. Most people would think that they would just hide out in Maine but no they choose to go on the other side of the country." Parker says when he rants.

"Chill out its fine we will just go there and-"

"'We'? I'm going to Hawaii you aren't."

"What do you mean 'you aren't going. I'm going.' Like what you can't stop me."

"Yes, I can."

"How." Then he was speechless. I, Stefany Martin, have gotten Parker Herring to be speechless. "See you can't stop me. I'm going to find a way to get to Hawaii because I can't pay for it."

"I'll pay for it."

"No it's fine I will find away."

"If ya want to."

Parker drives me home and I go to my room and read. It's a Sunday so I'm just going to chill out for the rest of the day. I read for about 7 minutes and then I'm being crushed by a 15-year-old who wants to go shopping.

"Can you please take me shopping!?!?!"

"No"

"Why not?"

"Because I don't feel like going."

"It's not your choice. Carla said you had to." She calls my mom Carla her real name because she was adopted and hasn't gotten used to calling her mom.

I grown and took off my bed. "Is Ian coming?"

"Yeah."

"Ok" Ian is 6 years old and he likes to go everywhere. So no wonder he's coming with us.

"Maddi! I'm not giving you money."

"Ok. Carla gave me $200."

I gape at her. My mom doesn't give anyone money. She doesn't even give me money. I grab my leather jacket. It's a little chilly outside so I'll be warm. I text my friends to meet me at the mall. I'm not and upset about Jaime missing since I know where to find her.

"Ian put your shoes on."

"No."

"Yes."

"No!"

"If you do I'll buy you ice cream."

"You promise."

"Pinky promise," I say as I hold out my right pinky. We pinky promise and I get in my Jeep.

We get to the mall and I immediately spot Samantha's blonde hair. I walk up to them with Ian holding my hand. He tries to let go but I hold him back and whisper in his ear. I let him go and he sneak attacks my friends Anna jumps and Adrian falls on the floor and the others jump back. I double over and laugh.

When I finally calm down I walk over to Ian and my friends. "So where do you want to go first?"

"I want Ice Cream!" Ian says while Anna gives me a look. "I told him he could have ice cream if he put his shoes on."

"Ok let's go get ice cream."

We go to Coldstones and Ian is happy so while we walk around the stores we all walk to the place where Jaime was taken. It starts to get hard to breathe. Chris gives me a concerned look. "Stef? You ok?" I shake my head and start to feel dizzy all I remember is my friends screaming my name. And I think I saw Parker.

I woke up at Jaime's house on the couch.....let me rephrase that, my head was on Parker's lap and he was messing with my hair while watching a dogs purpose. Then I saw a tear roll down his face. I sat straight up and startled him. "Are you crying?"

"No!" He said a bit too quickly while whipping the tear away.

"You so were. How did I get here in the first place?"

"Well, you passed out at the mall so I took you here."

"Wait! Where's Ian?!"

"He's fine. He is in my room."

"Ok." And I lay back down and continue to watch the movie. Ian came out later and jumped on us. "When are we going home?" I grabbed my phone and saw there were texts from Mom and a few from Madison. . . And the time. It was almost 7 and Ian had to got home. "Thank you, Parker, for watching Ian. . . And me."

"It was no problem. Hey little dude. If you want to come over again, you can whenever you want. Just tell Stef." Ian is grinning from ear to ear. "Ok! Bye Parker."

"Bye, little dude." I wave as we walk out then I realized I didn't have a car. So I turn around and knock on the door and he answered with a smirk. I just rolled my eyes. "We need a ride, please." When I said that he had his car keys hanging from his fingers. We walk to his car and I got in the passenger seat and Ian got in the back. I live about a 10-minute drive from his house and Ian fell asleep in the back. It was silent until Parker spoke up. "When do you want to go to Hawaii?"

"I don't know, but I want to go soon just encase she is hurt."

"Ok I can probably get a ticket for Monday." That's in 2 days. Okay in 2 days I'll be in Hawaii. I will get to see Jaime soon unless she isn't already dead.

Here is Stefany's car just imagine them a Forrest green. I'm talking about them like they are real people but they aren't. Sorry I'm not updating school just started so I'll be busy but I will try to update more often. I've just been reading other stories. Have a good day/night.
