In a place where power is a disease of many colours, no one is safe. Power, the disease is water borne but it isn't contagious. Problem is we don't know what source of water has the disease, it's like it goes and comes and chooses who to attack.
About Power(the disease):
· Some people are born with it.
· Gotten when exposed to pathogen.
· Once contracted victim lives for 1-4 years (in very special cases 10 years).
· Using given power(s) keep disease from causing too much damage, reduces pain and increases disease lifespan by a bit.
· Different shades of a colour (same power different specialties, power skill).
· Powers chosen by natural talents or skills.
· Normals are immune or have no talent or skill (normal that has no gift that comes in contact with disease dies almost immediately).
· Colours are on fingers.
§ The more gifts a black has the darker and shinier the shade of black.
§ The most powerful blacks have obsidian fingers
§ The person whose fingers have all colours except black and 9 obsidian toes and 1 white toe has all the powers.
· People are free to live with whoever, most humans dissociate from the coloured.
· The coloured work in sectors.
· Government: 10 white sector leaders, wisest or oldest in each colour, 11 black.
Colours (in no particular order):
1. White - mind reading and control
2. Red – Fire
3. Blue – water and ice
4. Orange – Sun(light)
5. Yellow – Knowledge
6. Green – Trees and plants(Nature)
7. Purple – Animals
8. Brown – Earth
9. Grey – Air
10. Cyan – Electricity and technology
11. Black – Multitalent
Sectors:
ü Farming – Green and brown
ü Education – Yellow
ü Medicine – Purple
ü Works{Rescues, repairs, resources, manufacturing} – Red, blue, orange, grey, cyan
NOTE:
White have fixing powers.
Blacks are very destructive.
Whites are either strong minded or crazy before contact with the disease. Using their powers can either make them crazier or less crazy. The strong minded whites are assigned to lead sectors and are part of government.
Red(fire rescuers): Control and create fire.
Blue(fishermen, sailors): Control water. Darker shades control water and create ice.
Orange: Control light and can harness the Sun's powers.
Yellow(teachers): Have extensive knowledge of specialised topic(s).
Green(farmers): Can control trees and plants and grow them quicker.
Purple(doctors): Control and talk to animals. Have healing powers.
Brown(farmers, constructors): Control sand and mud. Build structures using both or any other earth elements
Grey: Control air and harness the wind.
Cyan(inventors): Control electricity and computers. Can hack computers.
