I woke up with a start as I felt an odd sensation, which I would later come to find out was the feeling of someone staring at you. As I opened my eyes and saw three pairs of eyes who belonged surprisingly (for the first time) not to animals, but humans! They were also whispering between themselves while the continued shamelessly staring at me.
When I realised what was going on I jumped back, gloved hands out and pointing towards them.
"Who are you?" I asked them as I rapidly got off the ground. I tried to appear as calm as I could don't know if I succeeded much. My thoughts were jumping everywhere,'Who were this people?', 'How did they find me?'. Most importantly, 'THEY FOUND ME! I had failed my one mission.'
"Woah woah woah, we're sorry we didn't mean to intrude, we were hunting for squirrels for dinner when we came across you, you seemed too calm to be alive so we decided to check." The light skin guy with an afro with blonded tips and light brown eyes said looking genuinely frightened.
"Okay now that you're sure that I'm fine, I'm sure you can be on your way now can't you. So bye." I said.
They were all still standing there looking at me with unsure eyes, "We live in a cabin close-by, if you need anywhere to stay." The light skin guy spoke again.
"No need, I'm alright just wanted to crash for some hours in the woods and you are all taking up my sleeping time and my peace so please kindly be on our way, thanks." I said looking at all three of them pointedly.
"You heard her boys, we need to get home either ways lets not waste time here if our help is not wanted." The only girl, with cropped brown hair and light green eyes said while turning away. "Let's go already."
"Thanks, now would you guys take her sensible suggestion and go."
"Alright then." The second guy, tall with short black hair and tiny dark brown eyes, said finally.
"Okay then bye. You never saw me." I said and they all gave small curt nods as they retreated.
'Phew that was so close.' I thought as I drifted back to sleep.
