"SO I WAS THINKING MAYBE YOU CAN COME OVER TO MY HOUSE TO WORK OUT IDEAS FOR THE PROM" Johnny comes up behind me as I'm walking down the sidewalk. My house isn't that far so sometimes I like to walk.

"Why not my house" I questioned.

"Because I don't feel like meeting your parents it's too soon in our relationship" he coughs and smirks looking straight. I shove him and walk forward.

"Whatever Johnny sure" I sigh and he walks away "where are you going" i shout.

"My house where do you think" he shouts.

"Well wait for me" I pick up my speed running after him. Damn he's so fast why doesn't he do sports. I run up and jump on his back.

"What the hell" he grabs my legs almost falling forward. "You way like a thousand pounds" he groans.

"Wow thanks" I laugh brushing it off. Even tho it kinda stung... minutes later we arrive at a brick house. With a huge garden and a underground pool in the back yard.

"Alright get off" he drops my legs and I land on the ground. We walk down the path to his door to be greeted by his mother i think?

"Aw Johnny you didn't tell me you had a girlfriend" his mom comes up and hugs me smiling. Johnny looks so much like her. The hair, the smile. "The names Meredith"

"Mom this isn't my girlfriend we have to work on setting up prom together" he explains walking through the front door.
She smirks winking at me and I smile. I'm just gonna follow him cause I have no idea where to go. We walk upstairs passing his sisters room and I wave at her, she smiles and waves back. "So this is my room" I look around to see a bed against the left wall with a black comforter. 2 windows behind his bed. A inside closet on the right side of the wall and a dresser on the back wall. His walls were a plain black color with a ceiling light fan.

"Nice" I mumble sitting down on his bed.
"Alright I dm'd paisley on Instagram and she said for us to work on decorations and where to find them the theme is neon glow" I pull out a notebook and pencil as Johnny walks over sitting on the floor.

"So let's pick out stuff we need and look up stores to get them on my laptop" he suggests picking up a white Mac book off his dresser. Hours pass and we come up with many ideas and things we need. For example: glow in the dark sticks, glow in the dark paint, led lights etc...

"It's 6 I should get home" I stand up putting my stuff in my bag.

"want me to walk you home" he stands up beside me.

"If you want to you don't have too" I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear walking down the steps. He yells bye to his mom and we walk outside. We go a minute without saying anything then he speaks up.

"Sorry about everything" he fumbles over his words walking up my steps.

"It's okay I shouldn't have fought back" I gave a soft laugh and look down. Now it's getting awkward.... "I'm gonna go in my house now" I open the door he nods then I step in. Five minutes later I got a notification.
