I meander and weave through the beds and obstacles that are scattered around the cold metal floor. I was on my way to meet Tanya and help look after Tim. He's a sweet kid; so innocent and pure. All he's ever known is the shit hole they call the train.

I see children and adults alike wandering around the foot of the train in different directions. Occasionally I'd bump into one but quickly apologise before moving on, not really in the mood for a chat and because I'm socially awkward ever since the second ice age happened and wiped out basically all my family. All I had was my brother, he was 4 when that happened. Got taken away when he turned 5 and I've never seen him since.

I get taken out of my thoughts by a shoulder bumping into mine, and my backside landing on the cold, hard floor.
"Shit! Y/N sorry..." I hear a voice call. The voice is instantly recognisable; Curtis. The one who always talks about taking over the head of the train. Always talking about a revolution. He may have extreme ideas, but he's pretty cute.

"It's fine.. really." I whispered quietly and scurry away.

I finally reached Tanya, we watched Tim play with this poorly made ball happily.

"You know Y/N." Tanya pipes up. I hum, telling her I heard what she said.
"You should smile more."
I take my hand off my cheek and turn to her abruptly.

"I bet you'd smile if Curtis asked you to." She snickered, my cheeks flush with colour.
"Shut up!" I hit her arm and glare at her.

"I would sure hope so!" A male voice quips form behind us. Both of us turn and we see Curtis standing proudly with a smirking Edgar. I quickly turn back around and I hide an even more vibrant blush, hiding my face by look at the floor.

Steps get closer and I see someone kneel down in front of me. They put one hand on my knee and the other on my chin and slowly tilt it upward. I'm now face to face with the handsome face of Curtis. Lord, he's attractive.

"Will you smile for me?" He asks.
I look away from him my blush growing even more pink- if that was possibles.

"Ok, look like we're doing it my way."

As I turn back to question what he meant, a pair of soft lips found its way into mine. Realising it's Curtis, I quickly return the kiss. I hear a chorus of 'woops' and cheers from around us, I tune then out and embrace the passionate kiss I'm involved with. We break for air, both of us smiling as we lean our foreheads against each other- breathing harsh and heavy.

"That's my girl." Curtis finally breaks the silence. I giggle as he kisses my head and take my hands in his.
