Chapter 2

Your P.O.V

I slightly opened my eyes and I was immediately blinded by the rays of the sun. I stood up and I walked to the bathroom. 'I'm so tired...' I thought as I brushed my teeth slowly. I suddenly heard footsteps behind me.

I quickly turned around and I was shocked, but I relaxed a bit when I saw Himawari. "You scared me for a sec..." I whispered. She smiled as she then bowed. "Thank you for saving me yesterday, but I think I can go home now!" She said as she ran away. 'Huh? Is a little girl supposed to run home all by herself?' I asked myself. I shrugged it off and I waved her goodbye.

I went to the academy and luckily for me I was just in time. I sat on my seat like yesterday and I relaxed my muscles. "Have you practiced what I taught you yesterday?" The Uchiha girl from yesterday asked. I looked at her and suddenly my heart skipped a beat. 'What the heck...' I thought as I started to heat up. "Are you okay?" She asked getting closer and closer. I quickly turned my look elsewhere. "Yes..." I said. She looked confused, but she then shrugged when the teacher came in.

I couldn't help but stare at her during the lesson. 'Was she always that cute from this close?' I asked myself. I shook my head. 'I can't think straight...' I thought. I looked somewhere else, but then I stared at her again. "(L/N)! Don't look at Sarada when I am teaching you stuff here! You have to study this for the upcoming practical exam! You have to be able to make a clone by using these tips!" Iruka Sensei said. "Yes..." I said blushing madly. 'Did she notice me staring at her?' I asked myself. I am such a baka....

During Lunchbreak~

I was sitting on my usual seat during lunch break when suddenly the Uchiha girl sat next to me. "What do you want?" I asked a bit rude. "Chill out you idiot I said that I will tutor you during and after school!" She answered. "Oh yeah" I said. "Well then what are you waiting for!" I said brightly. "A new couple?" I heard Cho Cho say. "It's not what it looks like Cho Cho!" Sarada said.

"Yeah..." Cho Cho said suspiciously. "Let's just get this over with..." Sarada said. I sighed in defeat as we started studying. "This is so boring..." I said. Sarada glared at me from my side. "Want a good grade or do you want to fail and re-do the Academy?" She asked. "I want to graduate of course! But it just doesn't work for me this way..." I said. "Look, anyone who tries can graduate and yes there may be tough times, but-" She grabbed my face with both of her hands. "But sunshine will always prevail!" She finished. I was blushing crazy having her this close.

"Now get to work!" She said smirking. "I have to go to the bathroom..." I said as I ran away. "Why....I can't be near her anymore... She makes me feel insane" I whispered. 'Why now?' I asked myself. "Because you like her" I heard a familiar voice say. "Who's there?" I asked looking around. "It's just me, Shikadai.." He said showing himself. "If you like her that much then just ask her out already...It would be too much of a drag to hide your feelings" He said as he puts his hands in his pockets. "Easier said than done" I said.

"Just try to graduate and you most likely would never have to see her again" He said as he was about to walk away. I quickly grabbed his arm before he could walk away now. "What do you mean?" I asked. He chuckled as he spoke up. "Did you forget that after graduating you would be set in teams of three or four and begin completing missions as a Genin? You really are a simpleton" He said as he yanked his arm back. He then walked away casually. 'Fuck...I don't wanna leave her!' I thought.

During the practical exam~

It was finally time to do the practical exam. I was nervous, but yet confident, because Sarada helped me a lot. "Okay next up is (Y/N) (L/N)!" Iruka Sensei said. I stood in front of the class. "Make four clones" He said. I inhaled deeply and I exhaled. "Here goes!" I said as I put my fingers in the correct signs. *poof* four clones were summoned. "Very good!" Iruka said impressed. "I honestly didn't think you could control chakra in that short amount of time!" He whispered when I was about to walk away.

"Thanks Sarada!" I whispered when I sat down next to her. She nodded and whispered: "No problem!". After the last person had to do the practical exam we were all free to go home. "Listen everybody! All of those who graduated, gets their shinobi headband at 1PM! So don't be late!" Iruka said before we left. Me and Mitsuki then decided to head to a cafeteria to eat some (F/F).

"You passed, right (Y/N)?" Mitsuki asked. I nodded as I looked away. "Of course! It was easy peasy after all!" I said proudly. He chuckled and we then started gaming on our consoles.

"Hey! There is (Y/N) and Mitsuki!" I heard a girl shout. "Hey Cho Cho!" Mitsuki greeted while smiling wide. "Hi" I also greeted. "Sarada! Let's sit here!" She said. "I'm coming!" Sarada shouted as she came to our table. Cho Cho sat next to me and Sarada next to Mitsuki. "You damned snake brat..." I whispered as I crossed my arms.

I then mumbled a few curse words underneath my breath. "Did you say something (Y/N)?" Mitsuki asked. "No" I quickly answered. "Hmm Okay" He said. "I want one burger-No I meant to say two burgers and some fries please!" Cho Cho ordered. 'She never gets enough of food' I thought as I chuckled. Sarada then suddenly squealed. I looked at her and she then looked away embarrassed. "Something wrong Sarada?" I asked. She shook her head saying "No". Mitsuki suddenly chuckled and he looked at the both of us in suspicions.

The ceremony for those who graduated~

It was finally time to get us our headbands and boy was I excited. 'This is the first step towards becoming the hokage!' I thought as I fist bumped the air. "(Y/N) (L/N)!" Iruka Sensei called out. I walked towards the stage and I bowed. "Here! You deserve it!" Iruka said. He then gave me my own headband. I quickly put it around my forehead. "Hell yes!" I said as I looked around the applauding crowd.

I tried to find my parents, because they promised me to be there for the ceremony. 'Huh? Am I going blind or are they not here?' I asked myself looking deeper in the crowd. I was looking shocked knowing that they weren't there. I suddenly bursted into tears. 'Huh?' I thought. More and more tears were rolling down both of my cheeks. 'They promised!' I thought as I was running away from this all.

'They fucking promised!' I thought. 'They are never home and the only favor I ever asked for was this! But they didn't fucking come!' I thought as rage inside me began to boil. 'Those freakin parents...' I thought. 'I will never forgive them! Never!'. I was running and running until I could no more. I then dropped to my knees. I sat on the ground and I hugged my knees tight.

Tears were then showing as I began to cry by myself. "(Y/N)!" I heard a voice call out to me. I looked up from my knees and I saw Sarada looking for me. 'Why isn't she with her friends?' I asked myself. "(Y/N)!!" I then saw also Mitsuki looking around. 'Those idiots..' I thought as I smiled. I stood up and I wiped off the tears. "Oh my god what happened to you?" Sarada asked worriedly as she ran to me when she saw me. "You look like you just sniffed some drugs" Mitsuki said referring to my red eyes.

"I am fine! I just wanna be alone right now.." I said. "We won't let you though! Because Iruka Sensei states that we were put in a four mans group together!" She said. 'Wait what?' I asked myself. "You, Mitsuki, Boruto and me!" Sarada said.

'Wait What?!!!'
