Chapter 8: Thrills and Tears

We bolted into Marinette's room.I managed to sneak out and transform as she put the sleeping Emma on her bed.

I ran to the scene and soon Ladybug arrived ready to kick some butt.

"Well M'Lady it's nice to see you again."
"Oh silly kitty enough with the chitchat let's get to work."

We started battling the akuma but it was stronger than all the rest. Every plan failed and Ladybugs lucky charm hasn't helped us yet. It was just a Chat doll.

The akuma threw its hardest and we just laid in the floor, we couldn't move. The out of no where another Chat Noir appeared.

"Come on Kids get up," he said as he defended them.
I couldn't help but stare at this Chat. I got up and I ran to Ladybug to help her out.

"Who are you," Ladybug asked as I helped her out.

"We can talk later but now  you have to listen to me. The Akuma is in her anklet, I'll keep her busy,Chat sneak over and cataclysm the anklet,Ladybug get ready to purify,once it's out catch it."

We nodded and followed his plan.
"No more evil doing for you little akuma!It's time to de-evilize."

I took this time to catch my breath and trying to figure out what is happening.

"Gotcha, Bye bye little butterfly. MIRACULOUS LADYBUG"

Tiny ladybugs fixed the damage that the akuma caused.

"Pound it," we all said.

"So who are you," I asked.
"Well basically I'm you from the future and I'm here for my own personal mission."
beep beep beep, out miraculous was about to go out.
"You kids should go home."
"Thanks so much,"Ladybug said.
"Wait if your me from the future,I'm dying to know are me and ladybug be together, like you know in LOVE?!?!"
"CHAT!"
"Sorry bugaboo couldn't help myself."
The older Chat noir put his hand on my shoulder.
"You'll see kiddo, you'll see.Now go before everyone knows your identities."
"Thanks again," Ladybug said as she sipped away.

I stopped in an ally next to Marinette's house and walked in. Marinette and Emma were fast asleep. They were just too cute and my heart melted at the sight. I gently kissed Emma on her forehead then Marinette. I was about to leave till something tugged on my hand. I turn to see a sleepy Marinette.

"Please Adrien, c-can you stay with us."
I nodded and squeezed into her queen bed. I pulled Emma and Marinette close to me as I started to drift off. He couldn't stress how important these girls are for him. It's like he's safe and has nothing to worry about.

Marinette's POV:

I woke up with the sun shining through my windows. I got up and saw Adrien and Emma still in a doze.

I got up and took a quick shower,brushed my hair and continued getting ready.

"Good morning mommy."
"Good morning Emma."
"Daddy is still asleep can we pull a prank?"
"Why of course we can let me get whip cream and a feather."

Emma was filled with enjoyment and I came back with the items.

I set my phone against a mug and started to record our prank.

"Alright Emma you'll have the important job I'm gonna put whip cream on his hand and you are gonna tickle his nose."
"Okay!"
I started putting the whip cream on his hand while Emma giggled.

"Your time to shine Emma."

Emma started tickling his nose and
SPLAT.

Adrien jumped out of bed and sees Marinette and Emma laughing.

"OH IM GONNA GET YA!"

Adrien jumped up and started chasing us around my house. We made it to the bakery and Adrien finally got us.

"Here let's get this whip cream off you."
I took Adrien to the sink and whipped the whip cream off. The bell rang notifying that someone entered the bakery.

"I'll help you in a minute," I yelled as I finished cleaning off Adrien.

"Hey Mari, I know it's weird timing but will you be my girlfriend?"
"Of course I will Adrien!!" I pecked his lips as I dried my hands.

"AHAHAHA DADDY!!"

We panicked over to check on Emma to make sure she's okay. A man with blonde hair was on the floor hugging Emma.

"Emma is that you?? I've missed you,I'm so sorry this happened to you,it's okay I'm here now," the stranger cried as he lifted Emma up.

"Excuse me can I help you,what are you doing to Emma" Adrien asked ready to save her.

The man stood up and glanced at us.

"Thanks so much for taking care of my Emma."

I looked at Adrien and he look at me. We were confused what was happening.

"It was no problem."
"Well we have to get going if you don't mind, Emma say bye to your friends."

Emma started to tear up as she hugged us goodbye. She was nice company and she brought Adrien and I together.They finished their goodbyes and I remembered something.

"WAIT"

They paused at the door while I run upstairs and grabbed Emma's doll.

"Here this is yours."

Emma grabbed the doll and hugged Marinette one last time.

"Thanks mommy & daddy. I love you."

My heart melted at those word. They left the bakery and Adrien's arms comfort me. I look up at him and noticed the tears streaming down his face. I kissed him with passion and just enjoy each other's company.

Adult Adrien's POV:

I felt relieved knowing Emma was safe in my arms. Now it was time to get home to Louis.
I swapped my miraculous and changed into Serpent.

"Hold on sweetie."
Emma tightens her grip on me and we travel into our current time.

Now Emma was safe with me, I hope that Mari will make it back safe with Hugo.

A/N~ Sorry this chapter is kinda boring but Yay Emma is back! Can't wait to start Hugo's story
