Alex's P.O.V

I shot awake in a bed, but it wasn't my bed. I turned to the alarm clock next to me. It's 11 am. Outside I could hear traffic, and I slipped out of bed, pulling back the curtains on the windows. My hands dropped to my sides when I saw where I was. New York City. Not that I didn't like this place, it was one of my favorite places in the world, but how did I get here.

I felt someone's arms wrap around my waist and the person rested their chin on my shoulder. "Good morning, love," Klaus said. I turned around, pushing myself out of Klaus' arms.

"Why did you bring me here?" I asked him.

"I thought you might want to help me convince Finn to come back to Mystic Falls with us," Klaus said, with his ordinarily cocky voice.

"Couldn't you have gotten Rebekah to help you?" I asked him.

"Yes," Klaus said and walked up to me, brushing his hand on my cheek. "But you're much better company than my sister." I looked at his hand through the corner of my eye, then back at him. I took a step to my right and moved around towards the bed.

"Why do you want to find him?" I questioned.

"My family, you and I are still linked," He told me and pulled out a vial of blood from his pocket, "I have Kol, Elijah, Rebekah, and your blood." He placed the vial back into his pocket. "All I need is Finn. Then Bonnie-"

"Wait, Bonnie's helping you?" I asked him in disbelief.

"Not yet, but with a little persuasion, I'm sure she'll come around," Klaus said with a smirk as he took a step towards me and I scoffed at him.

"Unbelievable," I said. "Where's Finn so we can get this over with and go home?" I asked him. Klaus pointed towards the door of the room, and I rolled my eyes. I walked out, and Klaus closed it behind us.

We began to walk down the streets of New York City, looking for Finn. I had my hands stuffed in my pocket as I walked down the street with him. "New York City," Klaus said. "What a place. It's full of people all over, blending and mixing their cultures to create this city." I stayed silent and didn't look at him. Klaus sighed to himself, "Did you like it?"

"Like what?" I asked him in a cold tone.

"The kiss," He responded. "That's what this whole silent treatment is about, right?" He asked, and I stopped in my tracks.

"Has it ever occurred to you once that maybe I'm mad because you kidnapped me, or forced me into going on a trip with you, for the third time in my life?" I asked him. He was about to respond when he heard something, that made him stop. Klaus turned his head to look behind him, and I followed his gaze to see Finn walking down the street in front of us.

"Go to the alleyway," Klaus said to me, without taking his eyes off Finn. "I'll lead him there." I nodded and walked into the closest alleyway.

Finn sped into the alleyway moments later and was shocked to see me. I stood there as if I suspected to find him here, which I guess I did. "Let's not make this any worse than it has to be, Finn."

"You're siding with him?" Finn asked me. "I thought you and your family wanted us dead."

"Yes, but sadly I'm still connected to your family meaning if one of you dies then so do I," I told him. He turned around to see Klaus standing behind him.

"What are you gonna do? Kill me?" Finn asked him.

"Oh yeah, that's right, you've got a death wish. Fine, pathetic, but fine. The thing is, I'm not gonna let you take the rest of us down with you." Klaus explained to him then throws Finn against the wall and watches as he crumples to the ground. Klaus then looked up at me and smirked.
