Chapter 45

Alex's P.O.V

"Hello Alexandria," The woman said. "My names Rosalita."

"You know you have a lot of guts calling me by my first name," I told her as I crossed my arms over my chest. Rosalita chuckled to herself and walked closer to me.

"My apologies," She laughed. "I forgot you don't like to be called by your full name."

"What do you want?" I asked her.

"Why do you hate your name so much?" Ok, now you're just avoiding the question. "Is it because of your father and the way he embedded pure fear into that word," Rosalita said as she walked closer to me. How did she know that?

"You think bringing up the past is going to break me?" I asked her.

"You do have to admit that your heart is your true weakness." Rosalita sneered.

"How about we skip to the part where you tell me what you want," I stated.

She chuckled softly, "All I want is the information you stole from my trailer." She answered.

"And I want you to crawl back into whatever hole you came from, but sadly we can't always get what we want," I said to her.

Rosalita only laughed at me again, "I can see why Niklaus likes you, you're definitely his type. Strong, beautiful," She walked towards me till we were nose to nose. "Broken." She mocked. I was fuming at this point but kept my composer. "Now where are my files?"

"And why would I tell you where files of information about my family, and me, are?" I asked her rhetorically and she gave me a tight-lipped smile.

"So you see Klaus as your family?" The bitch asked. "Interesting. I wonder what your brothers will think about that. I guess I could use it as another point in order to turn them against you, then I'll work on how to turn them against themselves." She threatened. "Unless you hand over what you stole from me."

"Ha!" I laughed. "My brothers are too in love with Elena to fall for your tricks. So good luck with that plan of yours." I began to walk away when she spoke up again.

"Oh, I'm well aware of the affection they hold for Elena," Rosalita called out to me and I turned to her. "That's how I got them to trust me. But I'm also aware of the affection they have for their sister. It's stronger than anything they could ever feel for Elena." I rolled my eyes. Oh, please, they tried to kill me in order to kill Klaus. They don't care about me. "See when you went to stay with Klaus, they had this little hole in their life where you used to be. All I did was slip in and mend, so to speak, that hole." I locked my jaw and she noticed before she pouted towards me. "Awe, is someone worried that they've been replaced?"

I sped her to the nearest tree and pinned her to it by her throat. "You listen to me, you little bitch. Stay away from my brothers or I promise you will feel pain, not even your twisted mind can imagine." I threatened/growled at her. She very quickly got the upper hand on me and shoved her hand in my chest, as she gripped my heart.

"Oh, honey, I'm at least ten times older than you. You can't hurt me." Rosalita said.

"Wanna bet?" I asked and lunged forward, biting her neck in the process. She screamed and let go of my heart as she stumbled backward.

"You bit me." Rosalita gasped and I wiped the blood off the corner of my mouth.

"Yeah, and I'll heal you if you promise to leave Mystic Falls, and the ones I love, alone." I offered.

Rosalita stood up straight, "How about I make you a deal?" She asked me. I crossed my arms as I waited for the venom of my bite to take effect on her. "I'll give you 72 hours for you and your boyfriend to give me back my files," Ok, I'll make copies then or burn them in front of you. Actually, now that I think about it burning them in front of you sounds more fun. "And I won't hurt the people you love." I laughed at her again.
