Of course before auditioning you want to choose a company to audition for. Now there is no such thing as a "perfect" company. I'm going to give you a list of companies, including the big 3 and smaller companies, and give the pros and cons. Also going to give you want they look for and any allegations about the company. Also as DISCLAIMER allegations are just allegations, so they may be true or not. I only include the allegations just as something to keep in mind. I'm going to include some artist scandals and I'll talk about how the company dealt with it. This is in no way of slander or defaming the company. I'm just stating facts
JYP Entertainment
Their Artist includes Day6, GOT7, Twice, Itzy, Wonder Girls, 4mintue, Stray Kids, 3racha, Sunmi, 2pm, 2am, Baek A-yeon, 15&, JJ Project, etc
They focus on more talent than looks. They also accept foreigners. Example of one is Sana from Twice is Japanese and Tzuyu is Taiwanese. Park Jin Young looks for healthy, well-manner qualities when looking for a good idol.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
Accept Foreigners
Focuses on Talent
They also care about your overall health
Treat members fairly, so no biases
Make popular songs
Cons:
They do focus on Twice a lot
J.Y Park preferably likes to produce most of the songs
.....So it's a bit hard to find Cons for JYP and its hard to find any scandals or allegations dealing with JYP itself than there artists.
SM Entertainment
