It's been a few years since I've befriended Jack, Saige and Charlie. All of my bullies have stopped hurting me, however nothing has changed when I'm at home. Mom and Dad still believe that feeding chicken to our chickens is healthy, which isn't. Why are we surrounded by idiots?

A few weeks ago I saved a newly hatched chicken, from it's fate of becoming one of those cannibals. I want to put the poor chickens out of their misery, but I can't even do that.

"Shhhh Oakoa, we need to be quiet or you're going to be caught and I won't be able to see you again. Got it? Now be quiet."

I whispered quietly, stopping him from making too much noise as I have him some seeds to eat. We're so going to get caught.

"Peep!"

Oakoa peeped loudly showing he understood, making me shush him again. And here comes the yelling.

"Cecelia! Get down here and mop my floor again, it's filthy!"

My mother called me from the living room, making me sigh. I want to end her.

"Coming mother!"

I yelled back, putting Oakoa in my shoulder bag along with his food. Just in case something happens.
