Authors POV

It was the weekend and Y/N went to Emily's house to hang out. Y/N we staying the night for the weekend since her mother wasn't going to be home for a few days due to work.

Emily and Y/N decided to watch some anime, hang out, play video games and every now and then be weird and ridiculous.

Y/N got a call from Ayumu, but he seemed anxious. "Ayumu?".. it was silent for a little while until he finally spoke, "Have you heard from Akari lately?". Realizing that Y/N hasn't seen him since Friday after school and Emily said she saw him rush off somewhere. "No, I haven't.

Why is everything okay?". Ayumu paused and took a deep breath. "His brother talked to me about something and it seemed suspicious so I wanted to talk to Akari about it. Emily gasped in shock. "What did his brother want?" Said Emi.

Ayumu, realizing Y/N was at Emi's he said, "I think it's best if I don't say anything." Emily wasn't fond of this response but Y/N cut her off before she had a chance to protest. "Oh, I'll let you know if I see him". "Okay" said Ayumu, "Stay safe".

After he hung up, Y/N and Emily heard a weird noise come from outside. Realizing it was already late out Emi saw a shadow dash by her window. Jumping back Emily grabbed onto Y/N from fear. Y/N decided to ignore it and they went to sleep.

Akari's POV

The final bell rang Friday and I dashed home. I couldn't help getting Y/N out of my mind and the constant thought of her was driving me insane. Chisaki wasn't home, I was glad.

I went inside and dropped my bag before seeing the book. The same book that Y/N lost. I was just sitting there staring at it. I grabbed my phone and realized I had 20 missed calls from Ayumu and a text from Y/N. "Hey, it's Y/N, this is my number. Uhh, save it.. I just wanted to make sure you were ok. Ayumu tried calling you.

He called me and he seems extremely worried. Call him back as soon as possible ^^". Seeing Y/N text me made my heart beat incredibly fast. I quickly saved her number in my phone and called Ayumu back. Ayumu picked up immediately. "AKARI??".

"Yes, Ayumu, what is it?" I asked. "Do you recall your brother saying he needed to talk to me?". I was sitting there confused as ever. "What are you talking about, Ayumu?". Ayumu hesitated. "I know how you feel about Y/N, but, Chisaki... erm... well.. never mind". 

Realizing it was about Y/N I quickly tensed up, my eyes changed into a glossy dull brown and my hands squeezed the phone tighter. "Ayumu. Tell me.. now". After Ayumu heard my tone he got chills down his spine. "Ok. Well. Don't get mad but... I think Chisaki likes .. Y/N. I told him to talk to you about it...".

The strength in my hands grew tighter, my breathing got heavier. Hearing the phone crack I let my grip a bit looser so I didn't break it. "Oh really?", Ayumu grew anxious. "Y.. yeah? Oh I gtg I'll cya". Ayumu hung up which left me there waiting for Chisaki to get home.

I heard the door open to a yelling older brother named Chisaki. I stormed out of room and slammed Chisaki against the wall. He was shocked, he couldn't move. He was frozen. He tried to fight back but the more he struggled at stronger I got. "Stay. Away. From. Her".

I said in a raspy voice that would send chills down anyone's spine. He seemingly knew who I was talking about because all he said was, "Ok.". I didn't believe him but I didn't take anymore action knowing what he can do to me when I'm not aware. I heard my phone buzz, Chisaki snatched it before I could get to it. "Guess who it is?". No... please. "GIVE IT TO ME".
