Four years seems so long, until its over. Charlie and I have put everything into the Olympic programs. We have mastered them. These are our favorite programs that we have ever put together.

I love getting to spend so much time with Charlie, he always makes me laugh.

Three days before we left for Sochi, I found a mysterious envelope in my mailbox. I didn't recognize the return address so I promptly opened it to find another envelopes but this one was for photos. I slowly opened the second envelope to find dozens of photos of Charlie, Charlie walking his dog, eating with Tanith, skating and laughing with me. After moving on from the last photo I saw a small note

"Do not doubt me. I know where you both live. Charlie is almost as predictable as you are. I could have hurt him at any time but I'm waiting. Waiting and giving you, Meryl, an opportunity to save your best friend. You only need to do one thing: throw the Olympics. Good bye Meryl. You will hear from me again soon.

If you tell anyone, including Charlie, he will meet an untimely end. I will find out if you tell anyone"

After reading the letter at least thirty times, I started to cry. I had no idea what I was going to do. I couldn't let anyone hurt Charlie but, I also couldn't throw away 17 years worth of training. I was so scared.

What could I do????
