The Skin-changer

(Alea's POV)

I got hit by an arrow when fighting Orc's thankfully it wasn't poisoned but Dori had to take it out and it was fearly deep in my side
"Kili can you do something?" Dori asks, He nods, He lays sideways above my head and puts my head on his stomach and pats my head, I look up at him
"Shh, It is ok, I have got you" He says, as I was looking at Kili, Dori took out the arrow, As he pulled it out harshly, Pain went through my body, I was about to scream but Kili put his hand over my mouth.
As my screams died down, Kili removed his head, I sit up
"Thank you" I say to Dori
"No problem" Dori says with a smile, I turn to Kili, He helps me up
"And thank you" I said blushing
"No worries" he says tucking hair behind my ear, Fili wolf whistles, we both Blush
"Shut up, Brother" Kili says while pulling me into his chest, I was shocked at first but nuzzles into the hug then Bilbo comes back down, Bilbo and I have become very good friends.
Kili and I break the hug and look at him
"How close is the pack?" Thorin asks
"Too close. A couple of leagues, no more. But that's not the worst of it." Bilbo says walking in the middle of everyone
"Have the Wargs picked up our scent?" Pa asks
"not yet. But they will do. We have another problem " Bilbo says
"Did they see you? They saw you" Gandalf says
"No, that's not it." Bilbo says
"What did I tell you? Quiet as a mouse." Gandalf says, everyone talks
"Excellent burfar material." Gandalf says, I stay silent
"Will you listen? Will you just..listen?" Bilbo asks, they keep talking
"Bilbo is trying to say that there is somthing out there that is a bigger problem the Wargs and Orcs right now" I say, everyone goes silent
"Yes, Thank you. There is something else out there" Bilbo says
"What form did it take? Like a Bear?" Gandalf asks
"Ye-Yes, but bigger. Much bigger." Bilbo says
"You knew about this beast?" Bofur asks a little scared, Gandalf turns around
"I say we double back." Bofur continues
"And be run down by a pack of Orcs?" Thorin asks, everyone says 'Aye' but me
"There is a house..." Gandalf says facing us
"It's not far from here, where we might take refuge" Gandalf says, Someone taps my shoulder, I look up to see Kili
"How is it?" He whispers
"All healed" I say showing him where the wound was, he smile and I blush
"Whose house? Are they friend or foe?" Thorin asks
"Neither" Gandalf says
"Wait, how can someone be Nither Friend or For?" I ask Confused
"It means, Alea...he will help us or... he will kill us" Gandalf says, I was in shock
"Lets do it" I say, everyone looks at me
"It seems like the best option right now, either stay here and let Orcs find us, or double around and get run down by Orcs" I say, everyone says Aye and nods.

We run inside in the house,  I stand next to Gandalf and my sword drawn, as everyone else but Gandalf, Bilbo and I try to push the door shut as a Giant black bear has its nose in the door.
They get it shut and lock it, They all sigh out of relief
"What is that?" Ori asks
"That is our host." Gandalf says, everyone but me looks at him confused and shocked
"His name is Beorn." Gandalf says
"And he's a Skin-changer" I finsh puting my sword away.
Gandalf starts walking around same with everyone else
"Sometimes he's a huge black bear. Sometimes he's a great strong man. The bear is unpredictable but the man can be reasoned with. However... he is not overfond of Dwarves" Gandalf says
"He's leaving" Ori says with his ear on the front door, Dori pulls him away from the door
"Come away from there. It's not natural. None of it." Dori says, I was thinking about how to tell them about Miko
"What would they think? Who they leave me?" I ask worried, Gandalf pats my shoulder, I look up
"It is okay, They will not do anything different, My dear. I well tell them soon enough, or do you want to show them?" Gandalf asks
"If they don't run away, should I'll show them" I say
"We will show them tomorrow morning" Gandalf says, I nod in response.

We turn to Gandalf
"All right get some sleep. All of you. You'll be safe here tonight." Gandalf says, I lay my bed roll down and lay in it, then I hear something beside me, I turn around to see Kili laying his bed roll next to mine
"I remember you have nightmares" He says getting into his bed
"Oh, ok" I says shocked
"Do you want me to move?" He asks
"No, I didn't say that just... no one beside Rorin, Pa, Eloa and Thorin really sleep next to me because of the nightmares" I say with a sad smile, He puts an arm around my waist and pulls me into his chest
"You have to add another one onto that list then" He says chuckling, I smile and Nuzzle into his chest
"He is so cuddling" I say mentality.
