The grasshopper's sound echoed through my head as the night fell on us. I looked over at the boy who's sleeping on the log soundly. it definitely doesn't seem like he's waking up soon. I wonder how he'd react to me.

Not 10 minutes after this statement passed, before I heard a slight groan coming from beside me. Yes, he may have groaned a little bit but still, he didn't dare to wake up.

Oh god, he's a pain in the ass, I thought.

He now pretended to be asleep, it was obvious. I got pissed off by his behavior, stood up to a lake nearby and splashed water into his pale face. His eyes shot open instantly. I scoffed at him. He looked around multiple times before realizing that he's in a forest. Right then, he rushed up from the log and tried running away, tripping on the same log in process.

so stupid, I thought.

He stood up again and ACTUALLY ran away this time. I couldn't really care less about him, so I just let him be. That is, until I heard and unpleasant sound. From a distance, I heard a clacking noise with a shriek following it. The clacking noise it is, was one of the animals' trap to be exact.

I rolled my eyes, knowing that I have to save that idiot again, so I went to do my job.

I tried finding him, and thank God he wasn't far away. I saw him on the ground afraid of trying to remove the bear trap from his now bleeding leg. I slowly approached him, trying to convince him that I'm not going to hurt him.

"Hey umm... Don't worry. I'll help you." I tried sounding as calm as possible for him to pick up my vibe.

It seems he did. He nodded his head and closed his eyes after, waiting for me to remove the tight metal from his leg. I tried finding a trigger or something for this trap to open, but sadly there were none.

maybe it might opens with force then, I thought.

I started opening the trap from his leg. It was so strong and hard, but I thankfully was able to free his leg from it.

He kept looking at his leg with his bottom lip bitten out of pain. I had second thoughts about treating his bleeding leg, but ended up supporting the very first thought.

"Here." I extended a hand for him. He hesitated at first though, but accepted it afterwards.

I held him the same way as before; his arm on my shoulder with my hand holding up his waist. He seemed to be bothered by how I'm holding him by the waist. He was slowly scooting away from me. I think he noticed how I was looking at him as well.

"Personal space, please." He demanded in a stern tone.

I thought he was a normal human being, but I guess he's not. Judging by his clothing style. the v-neck shirt that's covered with a white stylish suit, a blue and black designs of leaves printed on it, and an indigo colored choker on his neck as well. He looked and spoke formally. Is he rich by coincidence? There's no way though, how come he's been abducted so easily if he's rich then?

Once we reached the place we were before. I saw him leave my side and hopped his way on one leg to the log.

"Don't you have...like a bandage or something?" He spoke once again.

I shook my head sighing lightly. I looked around, trying to find anything to stop the blood from flowing. Sadly, I found none.

He sighed deeply, so I looked over at him and noticed the choker on his neck.

Well, it's better than nothing.

I got hold of his choker. He was surprised by my sudden move and shoved my hand away.
