Danielle's P.O.V.

I wake up to the ringing of my phone. I check who it is. I roll my eyes as I see Scott written on the screen.

"Do you know what time is?" I say with my grumpy morning voice.

"Twelve o'clock in the afternoon," he answers.

"And what's the reason behind this phone call, Mr. McCall?" I ask him lifting up my eyebrow even though I know that he can't see it.

"I was just going to help you get a job. It's fine with me if you don't want it."

"No no no. Wait!" I yell at him.

"What?" he asks.

"Can you explain what this job thing is first?"

"Sure, so the thing is we need an art teacher in Beacon Hills. Me and Stiles were thinking that you would've like to volunteer but I guess not." He explained.

"How long will I be teaching?" I ask.

"For 2 weeks, but they might need you to come back later on for a couple of days. You can come here in an hour and apply for the job. I already told the principal about you." He informs.

"Alright, well don't hold me up on the phone. Bye." I say and shut the phone on his face before I even give him a chance to reply.

I get out of bed and walk over to the bathroom. I take a shower and get dressed into some professional clothing. I keep my make-up simple and my lavender hair into a braided bun (photo above).

I make sure to put everything I need for the interview including my arts diploma. I get downstairs and go on my motorcycle.

I park my bike in front of the school and start heading inside. I look around noticing a figure standing in front of their car. Wait, I know who's car that is... I get closer trying to get a better view of the guys face while praying it's not the person that I think it is. Oh, shit. It's Derek. I begin swearing in my mind at him, and why he's here. Like, why the fuck in these 24 hours of today he wanted to stand in front of this school at this time. I walk over to him while focusing on the clicking sound that my pumps are making.

"What are you doing here?" I say lifting up an eyebrow.

"I'm here for a particular reason that doesn't involve you. What are you doing here?" he asks mimicking me.

"I would tell you why I'm here, if you told me why you're here." I sassed.

"Well, I'm not telling you so," he smirks knowing that I'm getting really curious and he's getting on my nerves.

"You know what, I don't wanna hear your bullshit, Hale! If you're not gonna tell me, then fine, I'll figure out myself like I always do. I'm going for a really important job interview right now, and you're not helping." I blurt out turning around and heading towards the school entrance.

He catches up and grabs my arm turning me around, "good luck for you, then." he smiles down at me staring into my eyes with confidence.

"I can't stand how you're just so full of yourself, but thanks anyway." I turn around swaying my hips on purpose while walking because I know that he's watching.

When I get inside I text Scott telling him that Derek's outside.

I head over to the office and ask the Secretary where the Principal's office is.

I walk in feeling my palms sweating.

"Hi," he greets me with a smile.

"Hi, Mr. Argent" I look down reading his name pad on his desk.
