Prologue ~ Beautiful

Jordan's POV

She is gorgeous. I don't even care that she is deaf. She is gorgeous. She has flowing auburn hair, and aquamarine eyes. Her skin is pale, but not too pale. She doesn't bother speaking because she thinks her voice will sounds crazy because she can't hear it, but I bet it sounds magical. She is just the right height, and has tiny freckles spinkled over her nose that to someone else would be unrecognizable, but I can see every single one of them. Her name matches her perfectly, other's would make the name seem tired, but she gives it life. I wish she were mine. One problem.

She's my best friend.

Chapter 1 ~ Differant

Lucy's POV

Today is my first day of high school. Considering I'm not the 'coolest' girl in school - actually, I'm one of the most unpopular, exept for the fact that the entire football team has a massive crush on me, but I think that's kinda creepy - the only friends I have are Jordan, he's pretty awesome, and Desrée, my best friend in the whole world, I'm probably not gonna be the highlight of 9th grade. Especially because Gretchen will be there. She laughs at me everyday and makes fun of me because of my disability. I know what you're thinking, "How does she know that if she's deaf?" I'm deaf, not stupid. I can read lips, and when she throws her head back, I can kinda tell that she's laughing.

My friends are really amazing. Jordan and Desrée learned sign language just for me. Jordan is actually pretty hot, with black hair and dark brown eyes. Desrée is amazingly pretty, with her blonde hair and peircing blue eyes. Peircing, but soft. Strange combo, I know. As for me, I'm quite funny looking. My hair is super soft, too soft if you ask me. It looks like a giant puffball. My eyes, they make melook like I'm some supernatural creatre from the deep. Ew. Anyways, all of us have the same common intrests (yes, including Jordan, he likes everything we like - except for all our girly things of course), including DWW (Down With Webster), Green Day, and music in those two catergories. Oh, and did I mention that me and Desrée are OBSESSED with Marianas Trench? Josh Ramsay is the hottest guy on the face of the earth. L O L.

I also have an amazing family. My little brother Michael is so cute - he's only 5, you thought I was crazy there for a sec - and my older sister is annoying, but in an 'I love you' kind of way. My mother, oh my mother. I love her soooooo much it's not even funny. My daddy, he's daddy. I'm the daddy's girl. It just works.

Aw crap, my mom is paging. She has to do that, because I can't hear her call upstairs. Oooh, we're having dinner. I hope it's pizza. Bye!
