The pic for this chapter isn't mine but it's what Yukon looks like.

I arrived back at the hospital and entered Yukon's room. He looked at me as I entered, "Aziz! What happened?" He asked.

I sat beside him, "Uncle Konkuro is hurt. Father sent my team on a mission while I was with your team, and it went bad. My whole team was killed and Uncle Konkuro was injured badly. Father is sending a team to find these ninja and stop them, did you want to join us?" I asked and Yukon looked surprised, "Me?" he asked and smiled, "Sure Aziz, I'll join you." he answered. I smiled at him, "The mission isn't until Uncle Konkuro is out of the hospital, so recover fast." I said and he grinned, "You got it. Who else will be on the team?" He asked.

"You, me, Uncle Konkuro, and Akiko Saito. She a Genin I knew when I was in the academy and definitely will be a huge asset to our team. Father is gonna consider her." I said and he nodded, "I'll be honored to help you out." He said and I grinned, "I'll let you rest now. I'm going to go visit Uncle Konkuro." I said and he nodded as I stood and left the room.

After a long time of searching, I finally found Uncle Konkuro's room. I opened the door and entered, seeing him in his bed hooked to all kinds of machines, and asleep. I took the seat by his bed and sat down, "I'm so sorry I wasn't there, Uncle Konkuro. If I was there, maybe-maybe they would all still be alive. And maybe you wouldn't be in the hospital." I whispered softly as tears pricked my eyes. I reached out and took his hand, then looked out the window, "We will make those bastards pay for what they've done to our team....Captain Konkuro." I swore to my uncle as I watched the clouds roll by. As I stared out the window, I had a memory come to mind.

I was five and spent a lot of time with Uncle Konkuro growing up. He watched over me when my parents couldn't and we usually had a lot of fun together. One of my favorite memories was when Uncle Konkuro and I spent all day playing outside together. He had chased me to a sandy hill and playfully tackled me to the ground. He tickled me so hard I had tears in my eyes from laughing. When he finally rolled off of me, we laid on that hill and stared at the sky, naming off what we thought each cloud was shaped as.

I smiled to myself and pointed to a cloud right by the window, "Uncle Konkuro, that cloud looks like a bird." I said with a small smile. There was a moment of silence before I heard him speak, "I think it looks like a puppy." He said and I looked at him and grinned, "Uncle Konkuro, your awake." I shouted and hugged him tightly.

He laughed, "It's hard to sleep with you talking beside me." He joked and I grinned wider. I hugged him again and pulled away with a serious look, "How are you, Uncle Konkuro?" I asked. He leaned back in his bed, "I'm hurting, to tell you the truth. Have they been buried yet?" He asked and I shook my head, "Not yet, Uncle. Father doesn't want to bury them until you can be present." I explained and he nodded, "I'm just glad you weren't there, Aziz. I know you, you would've done all you could to save them-" he was saying and I cut him off,

"Exactly why I should've been there, Uncle." I said and he shook his head, "You would've died, Aziz. That would've been worse." He said and I sat back silently. I knew he was right, but I still felt I could've saved my team. I sighed and looked out the window again, "I know, Uncle. I just feel like I could've done something." I said and he sighed,

"I know, Aziz. But that's not a risk we could've taken. It's better this way." He said and looked out the window as well, "Has Gaara sent anyone to find them?" He asked and I shook my head, "No. He knew you wanted to be a part of the team, so he's waiting for you to recover." I said and Uncle Konkuro nodded, "Good. Aziz, while I'm here, I want you train the team, once the team is chosen." He said and I nodded, "Yes sir, Captain Konkuro." I said and Uncle Konkuro smiled at me, "Thank you, Aziz."
