Now, when I say pave the way, I don't mean they invented it, because I could find a hella lot of iconic and amazing songs from older artists. But, they did make it WAY more Western.
Kpop wouldn't of become so international if they didn't become a group, and that's the tea.
Now, I'm barely an Army, I support BTS. But they're like far down in my stan list. And my first group was SHINee. So I'm not being biased in anyway.
But without BTS producing music and getting as far as they did, Kpop would still be secluded and have a small community.Honestly, half the people who know about Kpop, found out because of BTS.
But just because they Westernised it, doesn't make them the best group, it just makes them the more globally appealing group. We all have different tastes. I like Stray kids music, but some of you probably are into TxT. I like Jay Park and Eric Nam, some of you are probably into Woodz (although I Stan him aswell-). I'm into (G)-idle, but a ton of y'all probably like Blackpink.
If anyone's gonna be like '____ is the best group!'11!!1' Imma flip out. There's good groups, bad groups, and amazing groups. But all groups have different concepts and talents.
