Chapter Five: Epilogue

It has been two months since Peter moved in with the Avengers. He still periodically has panic attacks and has to see a therapist, but he's getting better. He went back to school a few days after he moved and Ned has helped him a lot. 

Every week on Fridays, the Avengers always had movie nights, but no one really ever paid any attention to them. They were mostly for talking and interrogation. Tonight they were interrogating Peter for the first time. 

"Sooo. Peter. Do you have a girlfriend?" Bucky asked from his comfy chair. 

"No, I don't," he said shyly. 

"Well do you have your eyes on anyone," Steve added. 

"Well you see, there was this one girl," Peter said while his cheeks went red. 

"Explain!" Nat said while she jumped onto the couch scaring Sam. 

"Well her name is Y/N. She was my best friend growing up and we've known each other since we were babies. We were really close until she left" He paused for a moment. "You see I invited her on Vacation with me and my aunt and uncle when they were still alive. I had to sneak out early in the morning for spidey stuff so we missed the boat. We took another one illegally and got stranded on the other side of the island. A few days later we got to the resort and she finally told me the bad news. I asked her out but she said no because she was going for an exchange program in Paris for 6 months. And well 6 months turned into 2 years. Then I met Liz and we dated... until she had to move when I took her father down."

"Aww, Pete I'm sorry," Wanda said. Wanda has basically become Peter's big sister. She liked him more than Pietro because he wasn't such an idiot.

"Wait! What's the date?" Peter yelled.

"December 16" Vision chimed in from the kitchen, he was trying to make pizza this time and no one had the heart to tell him he couldn't cook. 

"That means Y/N gets home today! Dad, can you please drive me to the airport?"

"DAD??" all the avengers but Tony yelled.

"Aw shit," Tony mumbled. "Well, I kinda sorta adopted Peter fully a few weeks ago. But he's been calling me Dad since moved in." 

"Congrats Tony!" Steve said patting him on the back. Then the rest followed but Loki.

"Loki!" Thor yelled. 

"Fine. Congratulations on adopting a kid Stark." He muttered. He was happy for Peter since he was also adopted but he was sad because Peter gets to be happy.

"Thanks, reindeer games. Now Pete lets go get your girl." 

"Daaaad!"
