Wanna Race?

"I remember this story if it was like yesterday.The crash,the screams,and the escape.My name is Willy Anderson and this is the story of me and my girlfriend Abigail's unexpected visit to Planet Urbulus."

"Willy Anderson! shouted my 39 year old mother from down stairs."Wake up,or else you're going to be late for work!"I groaned as I slowly got up from bed.It's hard to be an astronaut trainer. I looked at the clock.It was 4:15 a.m."Coming mom!I replied forgetting to make my bed.I always hated getting up at this time.Quickly I got a shower(even though I didn't feel like having one)and got myself dressed and ready for work.Then I scurried down the twisty stairs.

"Good morning,I was about to go and see if you were still alive up there."She said with a giggle."I took that long!"I exclaimed as I reached for the cupboard.I grabbed  my favorite red and white bowl I got for Canada Day.Then I pulled the drawer open which had the silverware.I pulled out a spoon and held it tightly in my right hand . I set the bowl and spoon down at our round wooden table. Mom got up and handed me the milk and my favourite kind of cereal...Fruit Loops.I loved that kind of cereal ever since I was a kid.

Then mom sat down beside me and said." Abigail called."My cheeks turned red in embarrassment.I always felt awkward when mom talked about her.(Abigail is my girlfriend.)Mom noticed.But she just smiled.Usually when my cheeks turn red , she would tease me.But this time she didn't.

"Oh,"I said trying to cover my face as I ate my delicious Fruit loops."What did she say?"Mom took in a  deep breath."She says she is waiting for you."I flushed.And my cheeks then again turned red.

I glanced at my watch . It was 4:40.I had to be at work at 5:30.If I left now I would be early.It only takes half an hour to get there.

I quickly gobbled up my cereal and drank the gross, contaminated milk ,that was wobbling around.When I was finished, I got up and carried my dirty bowl to the sink.I washed and dried it.Then I turned around and gave mom a hug to show that I loved her. Mom hugged me back.After that I grabbed my car keys and said good bye. blowed a kiss. Of course I caught it.

I hurriedly hopped into my blue and black bugatti (that I paid for with my own money.)I quickly sped out of the drive through and headed for the high way. Maybe if I'm quick enough I could hang out with Abigail. I said in my head.

When I got to the highway I slowly pushed my foot down on the acceleration.I was now going 100 km.I knew I could go faster.But I didn't. No one wants to be in an accident. Especially when your rushing for work.

It was a good thing there were no cops,because a green lamborghini with black stripes sped up beside me.The dude inside rolled down his window and  shouted."Wanna race!?"Of course I wanted to race!Who doesn't?But...there was a problem.There was a turn off I didn't want to miss.Finally I nodded my head at him.

Once he saw that nod,he took off.I smirked.I wasn't going to let him win that easily.I slammed on the acceleration.160,180,200,210...220!I glanced out  the side of my window.Everything was a blur.As I was just about to pass him, I saw my turn.Crap. I said in my head. I quickly turned the wheel and hopped onto the turn off.I slowed down.I was in the city now.

Once I hit a red light , I glanced at the time.It was exactly 5:00."I need a donut."I said looking around for a Tim Hortons . Then I saw it, a Tim Hortons. Just then the light turned green. I needed to be in the turning lane,but I wasn't. So,I kept going until I got to work.

When I parked the car, I saw my beautiful girlfriend waiting at the entrance.She had beautiful blond and brown hair and green eyes.I could feel my hands starting to sweat.I always got nervous when I was with Abigail.

Finally , I opened the door, and jumped out of the car.She saw me and waved.I nervously waved back.I walked up to her. She was the first to talk."Hey Willy!"She said as her eyes sparkled."Hey Abigail."I said.I looked at her. Her face seemed nervous.Then she spoke."Willy...the boss wants to see you."
