Marcy washed her mouth out with mouthwash then came from the bathroom. "This has been happening for a few days now."
"Are you sick?" Mal leaned up from laying back on their bed.
"I don't know but I hope not."
"You just got over your cold."
"I know. Anyway, here." She gave him a package. "Happy Valentine's Day."
"Thank you." He shook the heart shaped box. "I can't wait for White Day."
She stuck out her tongue. "I can. I hate white chocolate."
"But I gotta show you how much I love you."
"You could just tell me." She quirked a brow.
"Would you let me?"
"We've been doing better." She sat next to him.
"But you still cry during the night."
She glared at him quickly.
"You do." He refused to back down. "Have you talked to our therapist about it?"
"No. And I'm not going to."
"I wish you would. We've been trying since the New Year. What if you get pregnant? I don't want our baby to come out sad."
"That can't happen." She frowned.
"Maddie came out mad." He pointed out.
Her mouth twisted. "Fine! I'll talk to the stupid doctor."
"Good. Next week."
"Why are you doing this to me?"
"I love you."
"Keep it." She popped up.
He pulled her back down. "No."
She made her body go limp.
He sighed. "Fine. You have until White Day. It can be your present to me."
"White Day is about me!" She looked up at him with a frown.
"Yeah but I still get you gifts for Valentine's Day. Just like our dads taught us."
"Ugh!" She groaned. "I have until White Day."
"Promise."
"You are aggravating!"
"Promise!"
"Fine, you hick! I promise!"
"Promise what?"
She groaned louder and added an eye-roll. "I promise to tell that stranger my private business by White Day."
"Good." He let her go.
She got up. "I have to go give out my Giri-choco."
"Thank you for my Honmei-choco. I love you."
"Yeah, whatever." She walked out.
He ran a hand over his face before getting up so he wouldn't be late for breakfast. She was going to drive him crazy.

Marcy knocked on Laura's and Marc's door.
Marc opened it. "Hey."
"I need to talk to her. Privately."
"You can tell me anything-"
"It's girl stuff." She interrupted.
"You can tell me girl stuff."
