Rejected by the Alpha

Awake

Angel POV

2 weeks later

I open my eyes slowly and let them adjust to the bright lights inside the room.

I look around and notice that I'm in a hospital room. I sit up and I instantly wince in pain. I slide out of bed and rip the needles out from my arms.

The sound of multiple heart monitors rang through my ears making me let out a cry. I gotta get out of here... wherever here is.

I walking to the window and try to open it. When it didn't open I felt myself get so angry. I rolled my eyes and before I knew what happened I punched the window causing it to shatter all over the ground.

As I was about to jump from the window, the sweetest smell caught my attention. I walked towards the door and looked out seeing that no one was at the nurses desk.

I smirked and opened the door and started walking towards the smell. As i kept walking the smell got stronger. Soon I was standing in front of a door that read "Employees Only".

I smiled and tried to open the door. When it didn't budge I got angry and kicked the door down. I walked in and looked at all the bags of blood.

The smell of the blood consumed me. It made me feel different. I grabbed a blood bag and ripped the cap off. I put it up to my mouth and took a sip.

One big sip turned into 16 bags of blood before I officially felt relieved. I threw the bags on the ground and stood up.

I heard footsteps coming towards the door so I ran behind a shelf. A nurse walked in and a look of horror crossed her face. She ran out the room to go find security giving me a perfect escape plan.

I ran out of the room and looked behind me to see if anyone saw. Before I knew it I ran into someone and fell on the ground. I looked up and saw a guy staring down at me.

"I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you are the reason panic has risen throughout the infirmary " he crouched down to my level and reached to touch me.

I backed away which caused him to chuckle. "Feisty..I'm Daniel, The Alpha's Oldest Son." He held his hand out waiting for me to grab it.

"I'm Angel...I was rejected from my pack" I don't know why but I felt like I could trust him.

I grabbed his hand and he helped me up. I looked into his eyes and oddly felt drawn to him. He smiled and walked me to my room. Once we made it to my room he stepped back and waited for me to go in first.

I walked in and sat on the bed and watched as he picked up a piece of glass from the floor. He looked up at me and back towards the glass.

The door opened and another guy walked in. "Daniel where have you been I've been looking all over the place" The guy gave him a hug and smiled at him.

"Dad told me to meet him here" he let go of him and patted his back.

"He told me that too! Hey have you seen Hayley? Her body is-"

"WILL THE BOTH OF YOU BE QUIET" I screamed as I held both sides of my head in pain. The door opened again but this time an older looking guy walked in.

The boys bowed at him before laughing. "Hey dad" Daniel said giving him a hug.

"Daniel good to see you its been a long time" he said sarcastically before pulling away and his eyes drifted to me.

"You've made quite a fuss through the pack. I guess you changing back to your human form caused your vampire nature to make a grand entrance. My name is Tobias Moon, Alpha of the Red Moon Pack" he held his hand out for me to shake.
