Back in 1207

Adrian's Pov

"ADRIAN!" I heard a loud scream from outside. I opened the door and there stood the love of my life with a look of horror on her face.

" what has happened? Are you hurt?" I grabbed her hand and pulled her into my home.

"Adrian we must leave tonight. They'll kill us if we don't leave now" Tatia pulled out of my grip and sat on the cot. We had been in hiding from her family.

I kneeled down in front of her and grabbed her hands. "What happened" i grabbed her chin and made her look at me.

"They know what I am Adrian. They also have knowledge of your hybrid side. Adrian we are being hunted and we must leave. I saw them leaving when i went out for supplies. Adrian they plan to kill us.

Before I could respond the sound of horses could be heard outside. With a wave of her hand she placed a spell on the door.

We stood up and stood in front of the door. "COME OUT WITCH OR WE'LL MAKE YOU COME OUT YOU AND THE LAP DOG" Mayor Roland's said loudly from outside the door.

Tatia turned around and looked at me. "Adrian I know we discussed that we wouldn't do this unless it was necessary but we might not make it that far so I beg of you now....let me do the spell" She looked into my eyes and tears fell from her beautiful eyes.

I grabbed her waist and kissed her lips. I pulled away from her soft lips and wiped her tears away.

"I Love You" I said before taking off my shirt and letting her do the spell. She took a dagger and cut my chest to get blood. Once she got enough blood, she cut her hand and placed it on my chest. She started speaking in Latin and the candles lit a flame.

With a wave of her hand and a few more words in Latin, flames started to surround the house. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITCH COME ON OUTTA DEA WE WON'T HURT YOU" Mayor Rolands said again.

She held my hand and kissed it. "In another life My Love" I brought her hand to my lips and nodded. "In another life" she whispered the spell and our bodies fell to the ground.

Before our eyes could close the door was pushed open. But they were too late, as Angel and I were already disappearing into the air.

Present Day

I angrily pushed open the castle doors and stormed to the kitchen. The servants would bow and run off into another area of the castle.

They were afraid of me, but they shouldn't be they should be afraid of their Queen. My Fiance. My Tatia.

I walked through the kitchen and my personal chefs stopped cooking. I walked to the refrigerator and opened it I grabbed a blood bag and slammed the door shut.

I slowly turned around and glared at them. "What the hell are you idiots looking at?! DID I ASK YOU TO STOP FUCKING COOKING! GET BACK TO YOUR FUCKING JOBS!" I watched as they cowered in fear but went back to work.

The kitchen door was pushed open and the butler walked in. "Sir Adrian, your guest have arrived. Their in your office." He stepped to the side and held the door.

I rolled my eyes and flipped a tray with food off the counter before walking out the door.

I walked to my office and stood outside the door listening to these stupid idiots argue. I slammed the door open and all heads turned to me.

I guess they realized I was in a bad mood so they tried to advert their eyes. "Why don't stop on my account. Keep going." They stayed silent and turned around facing each other.
