"Did you hear about how someone got in a fight the other day?" One girl whispered.

"Yeah, I heard it was with Jackson." another replied. They weren't exactly whispering so Chenle listened in when he heard the name Jackson. Who would be crazy enough to get in a fight with Jackson?

"Apparently the guy punched Jackson first because he made fun of someone he knew."

"I know, It was really sweet, but at the same time stupid. Who would fight Jackson? He's scary as fuck."

The bell rang and of course Chenle went to his locker. He didn't know if he was going to get another letter or not, but he sort of hoped so.

And there, it was another letter.

dear Chenle,

soooooo, i may or may not have gotten detention. i sort of punched Jackson, but it was worth it. i mean he shoved someone i care about deeply(aka you) and he deserved that punch to the nose as much as i deserved the detention i got and the call to home, but you know. there's never anyone home.

remember that song that goes like

"ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah"

"it really doesn't seem like there's anyone for me"

do you still like your name? i hope you do. i'm hoping that someday i will be able to meet you again on this earth. maybe even date? idk. but i will have to meet your mom again for approval.

smile. it always makes me smile. and if your happy, i'm happy. :)

this time Chenle actually laughed out loud. his laugh echoed through the hallway and brought a smile to the boy hiding behind the corner watching him read the letter. the boy was happy Chenle was happy.
