You were sitting on the porch just reading your book and eating popcorn, the weather was nice and the street was silent.That's when it happened.

-Get the fuck out- you hear Billy's dad scream as Billy left the house. He was about to get in the car but then he saw you, you quickly got up and made a sign asking him to come over. He did.

-Oh Billy- you said as you saw the blood dripping down his face, you gently stroked his cheeks and he closed his eyes as he felt the touch of your fingers-I'm so so- but he didn't let you finish... he just hugged you very tightly.

-What's wrong with me?- he asked with a lump in the throat- why do I always do everything wrong?- you felt his warm tears fall on your shoulder.

-Look at me Hargrove- you said untangling yourself from him- Look at me- you said grabbing his chin and making him face you- listen to me, there is nothing wrong with you. You are a human being therefore you can't be perfect and do everything right all the time... don't ever think that you deserve what your father does to you because you don't.

You grabbed his cheeks and placed a long kiss on his forehead; the pain that you felt inside your heart to see what was being done to the man you loved was indescribable.

-I love you Y/L/N- he said closing his eyes, this was the first time he said that to you.

-I love you so much more Hargrove- you replied kissing him.

-Is that popcorn?- he asked looking behind you, you giggled.
