Nino, Alya, Adrien, and Marinette all went to school on Friday morning only to itch for the day to finish the minute it started at 7 am.

Adrien was a scholar and tended to be super attentive in class but his mind often drifted as to what he would do when he had to face a nervous Marinette. Maybe he would let part of his Chat persona out as whenever they met she would laugh and wouldn't be nervous at all.

When Mme.Bustier noticed Adrien daydreaming she was shocked. Usually the model would only daydream after an akuma attack, which she excused because most of the kids had a look of distance and slight terror when it got especially bad. She had no idea the green eyed boy would actually happily daydream about a certain spotted partner.

Mme.Bustier wasn't sure if the boy was paying attention so she did what all teachers did. Call on the student by surprise to answer the question.

When she did, Adrien still answered 3 of her questions 100% correct.

She should've known. The boy was an excellent student and multitasker.

Well, as long as he knows his stuff she'd leave the boy alone. But now the teacher had also spotted some other students.

Alya daydreamed like Adrien but with a devilish smile on her face about all of the ways she could set up her best friend with him.

Nino who was waiting for the day to be over And was tapping his foot erratically. Presumably to a beat stuck in his head, but it seemed more impatient than usual.

Marinette was blushing because all of her memories with Adrien were flickering through her head.

The time she almost kissed him while acting,

the fateful day he handed her an umbrella,

the day she kissed him on the cheek,

the other time when the whole world thought that she was his girlfriend when they went to the movies to see his mother,

Or the more pressing one, the time she did kiss him at that wax museum.

The pigtailed girl usually did a good job at compartmentalizing her memories and pushed these memories to the furthest corners of her mind when she needed to get work done.

Yeah, no. Not today.

All four teens ended up looking the same all day but-

Finally. Just finally. School had ended.

They all rushed home because they had all agreed to meet at 5 and the blue eyed girl immediately began the prep for Macaroons and Croissants.

She made 3 different kinds of macaroons. Strawberry, Chocolate, and Passionfruit [Adrien's favorite].

She carefully made the delicacies with as much patience and love as she could muster as those tended to taste the best. Her concern melted away when she baked.

Before she knew it her guests had arrived.

Marinette made her parents promise to not hover that night. In a stern but apologetic tone she clearly told them that if they had any matters to discuss or ask, to please text her instead of barging in like they usually did.

Tom and Sabine chuckled with a knowing smile in response and said that they would do their best to stay out of her way so she could relax.

Marinette smiled and with the biggest hug told her parents she loved them with all her heart and how lucky she was to have them in her life.
