Gosh Dang it, Alya hasn't even given the dare yet and she was already tired.
Maybe after 2 years of being friends and me being stupidly crazy Adrien can finally figure me out...
"Phew! That's a relief." She let out because she was sure that the matter had blown over, but Adrien continued speaking.
"Yes...if it makes you feel more comfortable I won't stop touching you at all if that's what it takes."
"O-Okay."
She grabbed the hand that just let go of her shoulder in hers and intertwined it with her hand.
And it just felt so... so...soooo right.

Everyone's favorite two people were finally holding hands. Adrien and Marinette although pretending to be calm were actually super flushed.

As they held hands, the not so subtly looked at each other when they thought the other wasn't over and over again.

Finally they made eye contact and they both gave a nervous smile. Adrien could feel the warmth in her dainty, doll-like hands and was relishing in it.

Marinette had always dreamt of this.

You know those moments when you're not tired but know you should go to bed anyways so you think of a beautiful memory or make up a cutesy story you would enjoy thinking about soooo much
that you continue the story as you dream?

Well- This was it, the stories she would picture right before bed were happening right now.
Except sometimes her dreams got steamier than she was willing to admit.

Since the moment Marinette had taken Adrien's hand in hers, the blonde had taken full advantage of the situation as he rubbed his thumb over her palm, repeatedly and comfortingly.

In turn,
Every nerve in Marinette's body concentrated on where his skin was touching hers.
Her bluebell and ocean deep eyes met his electrifyingly brilliant green again but they stayed there for a long time now.

Everything she was feeling: her anxiety, her worry, and her uneasiness disappeared in the moment their eyes locked so profoundly in this intense exchange...

She lost herself if only for a moment, and was consumed by another emotion that she couldn't quite place. All she knew was that she wanted him-

...in which way exactly? She didn't really know at the moment.

Adrien swallowed hard because he was actually going through the same thing with those unplaceable emotions.

It was a look that passed through them right then and there. 'The look'.

The hot Adrien Agreste's smoldering eyes and cute, bashful Marinette's smize held layers upon layers of  depth and meaning but both would be too dense to grasp what was occurring.

Adrien let his eyes drift away from the intense gaze to stop himself before he let this new and entirely dangerous emotion completely consume him.
Was this what they called... lust?

The confident model usually never did this: He was never the first to break eye contact between them. Usually it was Marinette who'd be the first to let her eyes drift away.

She was officially driving him nuts.
